"Vihaan" Aarchi ran behind him as he picked up a plate of flowers and turned around and threw them on her. She stopped at the assault of the soft petals on her face.
"Wait till I catch you" She said pushing away the rose petals from her hair as she chased him. He ran until the last room in the alley and found himself trapped.
"Now where will you go?" She asked teasingly.
"Where will you go?" Vihaan changed the tactic and started taking slow steps towards her. Aarchi's eyes widened in shock seeing him take predatory steps towards her.
"This isn't fair, I was chasing you. You ate my food" She took slow steps backwards.
"Then why are you walking backwards?" He asked with a smirk. Aarchi looked around and thought about it before she also took a step ahead. She saw they were in a study which looked beautiful with the rays of setting sun peeking in through the slits of the curtains. Aarchi picked up the ruler and asked Vihaan to place his hand ahead.
"I am sorry" Vihaan said laughing, trying to escape her. He took a step to right which made Aarchi also take a step to right to stop him.
"Hand infront" She said holding the ruler in her right hand to hit him. Seeing there was no chance of escaping her, he kept his hand ahead. She raised the ruler in the air and he bent down on one knee with his head bowed infront of her as he held his hand out for her. Aarchi knew she wasn't going to hit him but seeing his behaviour colour crept on her cheeks and she lowered the ruler by her side.
Vihaan anticipated a harsh sting on his palm but instead felt a soft palm on his which made him look at her shocked.
"Next time you eat my food, it will definetely be a stick hitting your palm" She said holding his hand and trying to pull him up with a smile. A smile formed on his face as he nodded holding his hand to his one ear and apologizing with his eyes. Aarchi shook her head forgiving him.
"We go down?" She asked seeing that she hadn't been able to even move him slightly. Vihaan chuckled at her failed efforts and stood up nodding his head.
"Where were you?" Rishav asked seeing a petal in Aarchi's hair and stood up to remove it but Vihaan beat him and helped remove a flower petal from her hair.
"Ohh" Aarchi gave Vihaan a sweet smile for helping her which he reciprocated with a nod. Rishav noticed the exchange with an eagle's eyes and looked at Vihaan to take his hands off his daughter.
"Seems like my both sons have a thing for her" Veer whispered in Rishav's ear playfully earning a glare from him.
"Keep them away from my daughter or else they'll end up limbs-less" He said angrily standing up to pull Aarchi to his side. Aarchi smiled not knowing the conversation and sat beside Rishav who kept her in place by placing his shoulder on her shoulder. Vihaan sat beside Veer and got busy on his phone. Rishav kept noticing if Vihaan turned to look at Aarchi but when he didn't Rishav breathed in in satisfaction that Vihaan wasn't interested in Aarchi that way.
Aarchi got busy in talking with everyone and forgot about anything that hurt her or pained her earlier.
"Dinner's ready Rani ma" A worker came and informed them. Ridhima ushered everyone to the dining room except Vihaan and Aarchi.
"You guys can't be wanting to eat with us oldies" Kaira said holding her hands to her waist.
"Oldie? You could be talking about your husbands warna aap toh abhi bhi jawaan ho" Vihaan flirted with Kaira making her look away from him shyly as she blushed and hit him.
