It had been a week since the meeting at the company. While the SG band members were busy practicing for their new project, Yon left home on a quiet, unannounced trip to Busan. She didn't inform anyone not her father nor Madam Cho.

Sitting alone in a small restaurant, Yon faced a middle-aged man and woman.

Yon: "Why did you leave me?"

The woman's eyes filled with tears.

Woman: "We didn't leave you, my daughter. We lost you. I'm so sorry... You must have suffered so much because of us."

Man: "We searched everywhere for you. When we couldn't find you, we thought... we thought you were swept away by the flood."

Yon: "Flood?"

Woman: "Yes, there was a terrible flood in our village the night we lost you. You were swept away in the water."

Man: "We tried so hard to find you, but it was hopeless. By God's grace, we've found you now healthy and successful."

Yon's heart ached at their words, but she shook her head.

Yon: "I'm sorry... but I'm not your daughter. There's been a mistake."

The man and woman froze, stunned into silence. Yon stood up, bowed slightly, and left the restaurant without saying goodbye.

In her car, Yon called someone.

Yon: "They're not the people I'm looking for."

Do Yun (on the call): "What? But the information you gave me matched perfectly! I investigated thoroughly."

Yon: "Then your investigation was wrong. They lost their daughter in a flood. I wasn't lost in a flood, as far as i know."

Do Yun: "Yon, don't stop now! We've spent over a year on this. We'll find them don't give up!"

Yon: "I'm tired, Do Yun. I don't think I'll ever find them."

She hung up, her voice heavy with exhaustion, and drove back to her hotel. Unbeknownst to her, someone was watching her from a distance.

Somewhere nearby, on a call:

Person 1: "She met the couple, but they weren't her parents. She's back at the hotel."

Person 2: "I told you she wouldn't find them. What a waste of time. Keep watching her and report back to me."

Person 1: "Understood."

It was a bright afternoon, but Yon's mood was somber as she stared out the hotel window. Her thoughts drifted back to the truth she had uncovered during her final year of college.

Her father, Bang Hyun Sik, had been in a serious accident and needed blood. When Yon's blood was tested, the DNA results revealed she wasn't his biological daughter. The discovery shattered her heart. She remembered fragments of her childhood: standing in front of a car, calling Bang "Appa," and hearing arguments between adults.

From that moment, she began searching for her real parents. She hired her close friend Do Yun to investigate, but after a year of dead ends, her hope was fading. Despite everything, she loved Bang Hyun Sik deeply and had no intention of leaving him. She just wanted to understand her past.

Yon fell asleep, lost in her thoughts. Once again, she dreamt of running hand-in-hand with a girl her age. Suddenly, the girl's hand slipped from hers, and Yon woke up, startled.

By evening, Yon decided to clear her mind with a walk along the beach. She wore a mask and a cap to avoid being recognized. Sitting on the sand, she watched families and couples enjoying the evening, their laughter contrasting sharply with the loneliness she felt. After some time, she walked to a nearby convenience store for snacks.

Inside, two men recognized her.

Man 1: "You're Bang Yon Seong, aren't you?"

Yon: "No, you're mistaken."

Man 2: "Yes, you are! Oh my god, I'm such a big fan! Can I take a picture with you?"

Their loud voices drew the attention of everyone in the store. People began crowding around her, snapping pictures. Feeling overwhelmed, Yon backed away. Suddenly, a woman emerged from the crowd, grabbed Yon's hand, and led her out through the back exit.

They ran to a parked car. The woman pushed Yon inside, got behind the wheel, and sped away.

In the car:

Yon: "Thank you for helping me."

The woman didn't reply. Yon removed her mask and cap to get a better look at her rescuer. The woman glanced at her and abruptly hit the brakes.

Yon: "What's wrong?"

The woman slowly removed her mask. Yon's eyes widened in shock.

They looked exactly "alike."
