Beep. Beep. Beep.
Ugh. Fuck. I don't wanna get up. I grab the alarm and chuck it, but remember too late that this isn't my room 'cause Rikie's head is resting on my chest. I stroke her soft raven hair. Her eye lids pop open, revealing those gorgeous brown eyes. She smiles, which makes me smile.
"You're really cute," I tell her.
"You are too."
"Nah."
"Yes." She sticks her tongue out, which makes me laugh.
"We gotta go to school," she states. "And we gotta stop at your house for your clothes."
"I know. I don't wanna go. I just wanna lay here with you," I whine.
"C'mon man. It'll be fun." Her tone is sarcastic.
"Oh, totally."
"Hey, happy birthday man!" Rick shouts to me at school.
My birthday? Oh right. It's my birhtday. How could I forget?
"I bought you something special, buddy." Rick grins.
"Oh? Uh, you didn't have to."
"But I wanted to! You're my best bro, man!"
"Thanks, man. Where is it?"
"At your house. I dropped it off this morning, but apparently you didn't see it. It's fucking amazing! Trust me."
"All right, I'll trust you. Just this once," I joke. Feels good to know that somebody remembered my birthday, even when I didn't.
"Holy fucking shit!" Utter shock just swells up in my body. "Duuuude!"
"What you don't like it?" Rick responds sarcastically, obviously bathing in his own proud glory.
Sitting in front of my house is a brand new farari, cloaked in a deep red color. Of course Rick had to add his own touch by placing a giant pink bow on top of it.
"You're so fucking awesome! I can't believe you did this man!" I can seriously kiss him right now.
Rikie and I are talking and chililn' a lot. It's pretty cool. Nah, it's pretty fucking awesome. She's like the coolest girl ever. But I've noticed something. Every time I hug Rikie at lunch time, I can see River from a distance looking at me with a menacing glare.
Today, Rikie looks exceptionally cute. She wears torn skinny jeans with a red and black lacy corsett, simply outshowing all of the other girls in luscious beauty.
"Why don't you look sexy today?" I tease.
"I am."
"Sassy."
She sticks out her tongue. Without thinking, I grab her and press her lips against mine. Oops... Shit...
Her friends look at us in confusion.
"Sorry, you're just irresistable..." Fuck, why did I say that?
"Um, that's okay." Rikie giggles nervously and blushes.
"Is there something we don't know Rikie?" her friend Sachi questions her.
"Oh, no..."
Suddenly, River punches her in the jaw. I stare at River in astonishment. Those once gorgeous eyes have become the wrath of the devil. "Stay the fuck away from my boyfriend!" she exclaims.
I can see fury burning in Rikie's eyes. "Boyfriend? Really? You never talk to him." She moans. "You punched me in the jaw. BITCH!"
Rikie lashes out and slams River against a table.
