riding the uber to another rehearsal for generation loss, lia scrolled through some of the text threads she and charlie had shared. she was only torn away from them when she arrived at the mall, paying the driver and walking up to face her work.
"lia?" "jeremy?"
the two hugged and jeremy- jerma -smiled. the two were around the same height, he only beating her by an inch. "don't you only have a brief appearance in this episode?" he asked, confused.
"i direct the goddamn thing, right?" she smiled, "besides, it's a cold read. i'll do directions and help everyone understand the material more. i'm not just a pretty face." she joked and the two walked the stairs.
when she saw charlie laughing with vinny, her heart swelled, "you like him? charlie?"
"hmm?" she furrowed her brows, "oh- yeah." she looked a little less offended when talking with jeremy, "it's ridiculous, though."
he smiled, "i wouldn't exactly say that-" "lia!" charlie cheered. jeremy gave her a look as she was engulfed in his arms, to which she smiled, rolling her eyes.
"char!" she shared the same energy, messenger bag flying back from the slight force charlie had brought to the hug. "ready for me to direct the shit out of the episode?"
charlie visibly got confused, eyebrows downwards, "you aren't acting?" "i'm a rat this episode, alongside rae and sykkuno. i'll mostly be reading out directions and helping people act as best they can."
he made an o with his lips and kissed her cheek. pulling back, they both were blushing.
as charlie excused himself, lia turned to jeremy with eyes full of wonder.
"oh my god." she whispered, bouncing ever so slightly.
"ran picked a great cast for generation loss." jeremy said as he picked up a cookie. lia turned to him with a slight chuckle.
"he really did. i love every single pick." "god, he's good, isn't he?" the two smiled and lia nodded as charlie pulled her aside.
"was i weird this morning?"
lia watched him as she glanced at his hair. it was a bit messy.
"no, chars. you were fine." as he walked away, lia nodded to herself.
as she watched him, lia smiled sadly to herself. she was going to make a move soon.
