The night grew long as Gale Scindor stared up at the night sky. The air felt cold. Sounds of the leaves were seemingly the only occupant of the lands. Gale stood still as if only an observer of nature and not a participant. He was lost this night. The kingdom he had long dreamed of exploring was now his own. But the did not wish that to be. Throughout childhood, Gale loved adventures through forest as they seemed to hold something new for him everyday, whether it be drowning a beehive in a lake or chasing the fox that stole his meal sack. But he put that aside. King Lucia, his father, protected the Kingdom of Crestalia with his life. He couldn't leave the responsibility that Scindors had passed down through generations. Gale's mind was made clear as he smiled at the moon. The lesson of honor and discipline he had implemented in this decision would be taught to his son, Luke. Then Crestalia could have an even passionate king than himself....along with new conflicts that always follow. But that be not his concern as it was indeed his son's future. His own path to take in this life.
"Gale! Gale, come in! You might catch cold out there!",yelled his wife Justine from the bed. Gale gave the endless sky one last look for tonight, then humbly went back to his wife. The night became completely silent. The winds picked back up after every soul was asleep.
The black sky held onto stories that were thought to be only accessible by the ones who created them. Most creatures did not understand this concept as it seemed akin to an ancient religion, so they did not deem it as even existent. The stars refused to bend to these assumptions, as they always do. The universe itself was a thought at some point in time. Holding on to the power by which it was created is only necessary. The skies tells the land of the secrets they hold. Tonight, the skies received many tales. Some of lust. Others of worthiness. The night was mainly focused on a heir of many rights. A child. Scenes of the dead coming back, with forgiving thanks. An open field of flowers. The star being held in mortal hands...while waters fill it's void space....
"The new age begins tonight",said Zinoh. "Leave now, o hope of olden days. The children have now become more than apprentices and pages. I know the Mastery of the mythical arts. But I shall not let my pride forsake me in this life no more. This man may be of use to Eliann in times of distress." Zinoh calmly turned towards his bedroom torch. His sense of justice mirrored at last, he thought. He blew out the flame and retired to bed. The stars stood still in anticipation of the tales to come in these lands.
