Louis' pov:
*the day after what you last read*
I hear my name being called by Ms. Hayley and I turn my head up from my desk, looking at her.
"Louis pay attention please or you will be on a lot of pressure later on honey"
I think she said honey to try to sound not too mad, but I could still feel her anger towards me behind her long hair which is down her eyes.
"Yeah sorry Ms." I say rubbing my eyes, trying to stay awake.
"Alright as I was saying you all will be set up in pairs two and two to work on a math assignment for the next two weeks. You'll have to work both on and off school. And before you start asking, I am making the groups and you can't switch groups once you are in them alright?" Ms. Hayley says sounding very serious. I hated math, not that I wasn't bad at it, actually I was one of the best in the class, I just think it is so fucking boring!
"Okay I'm gonna read up your grounds now.. Hannah and Sarah, Stevie and Jack, Harry and Louis, Jonas and Gloria, Daisy and Cole, Kate and Taylor and last Matthew and Anna. You will all be starting working on your projects now and then you will be having all the math classes to work but I'll recommend to work on it at home too" Ms. Hayley says. I turn around looking at Harry. I smile at him to making him feel... comfortable... yeah that..
We all sit around in our groups around the school. Harry and I sits at the library on the second floor. "Are you good at math?" I ask him just to be clear on what level I am working with.
"I mean I got full A's on my tests so I guess I'm good" he says sounding a bit nervous. "Well same, so I guess It'll be a good project, not to sound selfish or anything but I have working with people who are not as good, it always ends up with me doing it all" I laugh a bit and he laughs too. "I know that feeling I hate it too" he smiles wide because he is laughing and I can't help but to find his dimples cute. As he stops laughing I look at his eyes that I really haven't realized how beautiful they were. Big emerald green eyes with a cute little grin at the side on the edge of his eye.
I look down as I realize I was staring deep at him, and I think he noticed too cause he was looking wired at me.
We continued working and we we're actually really good. I enjoyed it, Harry was funny and very kind. He was also very beautiful- wait no what am I saying.
"You've live here with your family too I guess?" Harry ask me suddenly.
"Yeah I live with my mom, stepdad and four- I mean three sisters" I say looking down at the thought of Fizzy. It was not so long ago she passed away, and I still felt horrible when I talked about her. In the start I refused to talk about her to anyone, but something told me that it was okay to tell Harry. I mean he had no idea about it.
"Oh I'm really sorry to hear, sorry I shouldn't have asked" Harry says and looks down very sadly.
"Don't be Harry, you had no idea plus it's a long time ago so it's okay" Even tho I lied and I felt bad about it, it was good to see Harry light up a little.
The bell rings
Harry's pov:
"Hi Ni" I walk down the hallway meeting Niall in the middle. He was a head shorter than me even tho he was the oldest of us.
"Hey Hazza, everything good?" He say smiling.
"Yeah all good, all good" I respond to him.
"Good to hear! So you made any new friends?" Niall say looking hopeful at me like he's asking for food.
"I mean not really, the only guy I've talked to is a guy in my math and PE class because we are doing a project together" I say and his face expressions fade out a little.
"What's his name?" Hi ask me.
"Louis Tomlinson" I say while trying to hide my blush which somehow appears on my cheeks.
"LOUIS TOMLINSON!?" Niall spit out very loud and everyone is looking at him. God I hope Louis isn't here right now. It would be so awkward, but guess what, he was. Before I could reply to Niall, Louis walked up to us.
"Hey Harry and I guess you are Niall?" Louis say pointing at Niall.
"Yeah I am" Niall say quickly before continuing. "You two know each other?" He looks first at me, then at Louis, then back at me.
"Yeah we do we are paired together in Math and we also have PE together" Louis says with a smile on his face. "Is anything wrong wince you screamed out my name?" I can see how bad he is trying not to laugh at Niall. It is kinda funny actually.
"Uhm no sorry, let's go Harry" And before I could either reply to anything or say goodbye to Louis, Niall took my arm and pulled me away like it would cost death.
He pull us inside a janitor's room and locks it. What's up with you Ni?" I say to his emotionless and kinda worried face.
"Why are you friends with Louis!?" He say quietly.
"He's very kind and a good friend? What's wrong with him?" I'm so confused right now about Niall.
"Louis is the most popular at school and he is captain at the soccer team just like the guys who bullied you!" Niall say and I look confused and choked at him. Was Louis captain of the soccer team? I knew he was kinda popular cause he talks to like everyone but I didn't think he was the most popular.
"But... Louis is different Ni, he is actually sweet and kind, and he knows I'm a nerd but he still talks to me" He doesn't seem very satisfied at my response.
"Niall c'mon he is very sweet!" I say grinning at him and hits his arm playfully.
"Just be careful okay Haz?" Niall say and walk out with no hesitation.
