Things were hectic at the Sousa-Sloan apartment as Eddie and Mark had woken up late, mostly because Frankie had kept them up most of the night due to teething, and Eddie falling asleep on the couch studying. The couple had slept through their usual alarm and their first back up alarm.
Now, they were racing around trying to get out the door and to the hospital on time.
Mark was reheating the prepped breakfast burritos Eddie had made before studying hibernation. Well, honestly, Eddie had always done things like this, but as Frankie was getting older, she was trying to get more consistent with it.
While Eddie got Frankie ready.
"Okay, we are ready to go." Eddie said as she entered, she didn't really dress up-just yoga pants and one of Mark's t-shirts and her hair in a long braid. And Frankie was dressed in a cute little dress that Esther had made her with a matching bow.
Mark was dressed nicely, seeing as he had a consult a light blue button up, khaki pants, and his tie was undone around his neck.
"Good, so am I. And breakfast is ready." Mark said as he held up two foil wrapped breakfast burritos.
"Perfect." Eddie said as she put Frankie in her carrier.
Mark grabbed his thermos of coffee and the breakfast burritos while Eddie took Frankie and her iced chai latte and the family of three was out the door.

"Okay Milo, you got everything you need?" Alec asked his girlfriend's son as he took him towards the day car center at the hospital.
