She sighed, she knew all his crying would get him sick and here they are.
She bounced him a bit as she pat his back, "Okay, okay, I know baby..take a deep breath for me, okay?"
Branch hiccuped and tried to do as she asked, his breath shuddered but he managed to take a deep breath.
She smiled, "There you go, baby..do it again.."
Branch repeated the process and took a deep breath.
She rubbed his back and felt him relax a bit, "Good..do you wanna go to sleep now, sugar cookie?"
Branch rubbed his eyes and nodded, but then he shook his head and whined, "Sick...feel sick..."
She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle, holding Branch on her hip, "Okay..okay..you feel real bad then, huh?"
Branch whimpered and nodded.
She nodded and filled his bottle with milk, then she started to warm it up, "Okay, I'm gonna try and make it better, would you like that?"
Branch nodded.
"What hurts, sugar cookie?"
Branch pulled away a bit and rubbed his tummy then pat his head.
She nodded and grabbed his bottle, "Your tummy and your head hurts?"
Branch nodded.
Grandma Rosiepuff smiled and walked back into the living room, sitting in her rocking chair with Branch.
She put the tip of the bottle in his mouth and began rocking him, "Here we go..drink up.."
Branch drank from the bottle, raising his hands to put them over his Grandma's.
She smiled and hummed a quiet lullaby as he drank.
After a few minutes, it was all gone and Branch was about to fall asleep.
She stood up and set his bottle on a little coffee table, she then walked into his room, rocking him and humming as she went.
Once she got to his room she noticed he was finally asleep.
She layed him in his crib and watched him for a moment, "Branch..if I could go and grab your brothers and bring them back forcefully, I promise I would."
Then she quietly left his room so he could sleep in peace.
