Chapter 1

    As the fresh, new start of Nekoma High School, you were ready for a comeback in your Highschool life. Little did you know, someone big was about to appear in your life.

Kuroo: Hey Y/n, where ya at? I'm at the front of the school.

Y/n: I'm on my way.

    I sighed reading Kuroo's message. 'Kuroo sure has the patience.. It is only 20 minutes before school starts' I thought to myself as I continued my walk to Nekoma High School.

    My parents had decided to move back to Tokyo after getting a good job here so of course I had to go with them too. I was actually enjoying myself at Karasuno High School and being the boys volleyball manager until a rumor about me had spread. Thankfully I had an escape to start a new life here at Nekoma High School and thankfully I know a few people here. I've known Kuroo since I was a kid. We were next door neighbors and Kenma was also my neighbor. Me and Kenma known each other longer and one day, Kuroo and his dad had moved next door. I was at Kenma's house playing video games with him.

"Kenma! Y/n! Come down here!" Kenma's mother called out for us. Of course, Kenma wanted to continue playing his game but I paused the game.

"Come on Kenma, your mother is calling for us" I smiled as I took a rest from holding the controller for a while.

    Kenma let out a frustrated sigh and put his controller down. Me and Kenma walked downstairs to see a weird haired looking boy and his dad near our door. Me and Kenma hid behind his mom as we were being cautious of what was in front of us. The other boy was also doing the same too.

"Kenma, Y/n, this is Kuroo. Our new next door neighbors, how about you two go and have fun with him?" Kenma's mother talked in a calm manner which also calmed me down. I don't know about Kenma though. He seemed iffy about it.

"Okay" I slightly smiled, still being a bit cautious. I ran to the first step of the stairs as Kenma followed behind me. "Come on Kuroo! Let's go play video games!"

Kuroo's iffy and cautious expression changed instantly as he heard me invite him to come play with us. "O-okay!" Kuroo's face lightened up as he followed me and Kenma from behind going into Kenma's room.

    As the days passed on, me, Kenma, and Kuroo had gotten closer. Kuroo always wanted to play this one video game all the time and I was getting bored of it until Kenma finally said something about it.

"Kuroo, we're always playing this game. Don't you want to try and play something new?" Kenma asked Kuroo in a monotone voice.

"Umm" Kuroo ran out of Kenma's room and came back with a volleyball in his hands a few seconds later. "Can we try this?"

"We're going to play soccer?!" I asked in a defeated tone knowing I wasn't good at soccer at all. My expression turned into a worried and disappointed face.

"What? No, this is a volleyball. You and Kenma should try it, I bet you'll be good" Kuroo insisted. "And plus, I feel like you two need a little working out from all the sitting you two do." He stood big and proud while laughing. Kenma's face looked quite irritated but was willing to play anything than the video game we played for a couple of days. It felt like he was provoking us so of course I wanted to play and challenge him one day.
