4 - Light It Up

It's slowly becoming sundown, the digital clock blinked its glowing numbers, 4:11pm..

The wind sang with the droplets of the rain, and the grass danced with the leaves, the clouds looked cold and dark, and the puddles grew more and more as time passed

Paintbrush was standing at the window, as they looked at the cold, rainy morning, and stared at everything out there, as they felt their sanity slightly fading away

They hated how dark it looked, it was as if Paintbrush was the cause of this natural attack

To make the sun hide, for the brightest leader is gone

To make the winds to howl, for she screamed their name when they left

To make the sky cry, for she sobbed her soul out to them.

It's all my fault. It's all my fault. It's all my fault. It's all my fault—

"Paintbrush..?" Test Tube eventually got up, worried about their sanity and health 

"I know.. something bad happened out there.. but if you want to ever see her again.. at least live to see it happen..?" Test Tube kept her distance to not discomfort them

Paintbrush looked at her, without moving an inch of their body, and looked away, which made Test Tube frown

"Y-you need to eat! I get it! Something horrible happened! But if you have the chance to save her, how will you do it when you're like this?!"

Paintbrush smiled, the smile hid their fury, as suddenly, a large fire sparked from their bristles, which slightly burned the roof of the cabin

Test Tube got startled and backed away quickly, the roof luckily didn't catch on fire, but they just laughed

They laughed and laughed, until the fury slowly turned into utter despair, the fire dies down as they fell to their knees

They looked at all their horrified faces and it stabbed them even more, but they knew they deserved worse than what they were feeling, way, way worse

Test Tube and the rest stared at them in shock, realizing that they really messed up.. they didn't.. kill her.. right..?

Paintbrush stopped laughing and just got up, walking to the door without any word

Test Tube immediately stood in front of the door, she didn't want to lose anyone else, EVEN IF they were the reason they lost someone

"I'm not letting you out Paintbrush. Do whatever you want to do IN HERE. I am NOT losing someone else" Test Tube spoke with a stern look on her face, she felt confident, she knew they won't hurt anyone

Fan panicked for her, he was heavily hesitant to jump up and pull Test Tube away, but he trusted her and hoped she knew what she was doing
