Third personish pov??
Noah never thought of Cody romantically, in fact, he thought that Cody was kind of annoying at times but for some reason he's been getting all nervous and giddy around Cody. He hated the feelings, mostly because Cody was clearly into another, it hurt seeing him chase after her all the time. He tried everything he could to get his mind off of Cody, but the more he tried, the worse it got. He tried to distance himself from Cody to make his feelings go away and possibly make himself feel better, but it only made him feel more like shit. When he distanced himself away from Cody, he barely even noticed, that made him wonder what their relationship even meant to him, THEN HE REMEMBERED MR BEAST BARS ARE A THING, HE RAN TO THE NEAREST STORE AND BOUGHT ONE!!! ONE QUICK BITE AND JOY RAN THROUGHOUT HIS WHOLE BODY, HE QUICKLY RAN OVER TO CODY AND CONFESSED... And Cody rejected him lol, Noah just kind of stood there awkwardly and looked around.
Noah's pov
Well fuck, I just made everything awkward. I don't know what I was thinking, what the fuck do I do now. Cody's looking at me like I'm a freak, does he think I'm weird now?.. I want to cry but that just seems overdramatic, so I hold them back while Cody and I maintain eye contact, I feel like I've just ruined everything with a few words. I feel dumb, really dumb.
"I.. I'm gonna go!.. Bye! See you later, Noah." Cody said that with a weak smile before walking away, he's trying be nice about it but it clear he's uncomfortable. "Yeah, see you later." I reply half assed, and I walk further away, taking a couple deep breaths. I just start crying, barely out of sadness, mostly anger and jealousy. I was mad at myself for even confessing when I knew he liked Gwen, I feel like I've fucked up our friendship because of my own stupid feelings.
I wish he didn't like Gwen.
