"You what?!" Michelle almost screamed that Ming didn't expect her to react so strongly.
"I am in love with Simon, actually we are in love with each other." Ming had to repeat it.
"Oh my! Get out of here Ming!" Michelle covered her face while she continued shouting at him, Ming didn't know if she was excited or angry.
"What's wrong, Michelle?" asked Ming.
"What's wrong? I just found out I am pregnant; do you really think it's a good idea to tell me now that your crush also actually likes you?!"
Ming didn't say anything, he started blaming himself for being so selfish, he then said, "sorry."
Michelle sighed and opened her arms to Ming, she then said, "I am sorry sweetie, of course I am happy for you, this is exactly what you have missed, you deserve it, I am truly glad for you."
Somehow, maybe he had held the hope of finding a lover for too long, maybe he just realized the dream he had had for years finally came true, maybe he also felt it was ridiculously funny, he burst into tears and cried on Michelle's shoulder.
Ming couldn't remember how long he had cried like that, when he realized it and stopped crying, he then saw they were both lying on the couch.
He didn't say anything because Michelle was still patting his back like a mother patted her baby.
"Do you want to meet him?" asked Ming.
"Sure, of course, I would love to!" Michelle smiled and looked at Ming. "I can't wait." She then gave him a big hug.
When Simon came to their house, it was about to rain. Ming originally proposed to meet in a restaurant, but Michelle insisted that Simon should come home to see the place he lives in, and she didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant with some strong reaction from pregnancy.
Here he sat, Simon was handsome as usual, his hair was dark brown with a little bit curl, his eyes were not big but very deep, his short beard scrum made his face less round, and, those eyes, that was a pair of eyes that could talk to you, no way you could get out of those eyes. Michelle didn't pay attention to what they were talking about, from the first moment when he stood in front of her and shook her hand, she just couldn't believe how attractive Simon was, he looked even more handsome than on the picture Ming showed her before.
"You look even more handsome than the picture Ming showed me!" She joked with Simon while holding his arm. Simon didn't say anything but smiled.
They ordered delivery for dinner since neither Ming nor Michelle felt like cooking that day, it was Simon's favorite food: Sushi. During dinner time, their conversation was all between Michelle and Simon, and it was mostly Michelle asking Simon questions.
"So, Simon, Ming mentioned you had a girlfriend before?" asked Michelle.
"Yes, we broke up a while ago." Simon always answered shortly, like he didn't want to talk much about the question.
"Is she also Asian?" asked Michelle.
"Hey Michelle, don't be so noisy." Interrupted Ming.
"No, she is Caucasian. I actually never dated Asian before." Answered Simon, he just smiled at Ming.
"I guess so, like you never dated guys before." Michelle winked at Simon, and she turned around and smiled at Ming.
"I don't believe we should label ourselves like gay, bisexual or straight, at least I don't label myself that." Added Simon, to Michelle's surprise.
"How so?" She asked, "like right now I would assume you are bi."
"I wouldn't think about falling in love with a man before I met Ming, you never know what's going to happen, people don't know themselves as they think they do."
