Chapter 26

Seeing Payu's car in front of Rain's house surely raised many questions. Som obviously wanted an answer to those questions as soon as possible, he was even ready to get into the apartment complex and go to confront Payu, but he soon understood that it wasn't the right choice. His boyfriend was certainly just taking care of Rain after his relationship was over, confronting him there would just mean that Som suspected Payu to be a cheater, and surely Payu would have just gotten even more mad at him because of Som's jealousy. Som eventually went back to his house in the city and decided to wait for the following morning.

In the morning, Som went to Payu's family's mansion. He suspected that Vegas didn't really like him, but if he really was to be disliked, he wanted it to be for something he actually did, not just because of a lie. Vegas opened the door and glared at him as he saw him at the entrance.

"Khun Vegas, I'm very sorry to disturb you, but I need to talk to your son, it is very important"

"My son isn't here at the moment" Vegas replied coldly and tried to close the door, but Som stopped him, putting his foot between the door and the doorframe.

"What else may I do for you?" Vegas asked with an obviously fake polite tone.

"Something bad happened... please..." Som added. Pete finally heard him and rushed to the entrance, he let him in and asked him to sit in the living room.

"So, what happened?" Pete asked.

"I know that Venice thinks I've cheated on him..." Som started.

"Well, maybe if that's what he thinks, you did something that could be considered suspicious, don't you agree?" Vegas remarked arrogantly.

"Khun Vegas, Khun Pete, I know I'm not the best guy in the world, but I love Payu and I would never cheat on him. It was my sister... she cut a video to make it look like I let a guy flirt with me... I... I know that Payu deserves much better than me... b... but... I don't want him to break up with me for something I didn't do" Som said as he started sobbing. Vegas looked away, while Pete came closer to him

Payu woke up and smiled at little after seeing Rain still asleep by his side. He looked at the clock on his phone and saw how late it was. He got dressed, prepared something for breakfast for both him and Rain, who would have woken up much later, and then got into his car to go back to his family's mansion. As he parked the car, he noticed Som's car there too. He sighed and remarked:

"I can't believe he got so pathetic to even come back to beg my parents for help..."

No matter the bad beginning, Payu took a deep breath and entered the house.

"Som, what brings you here?" Payu asked annoyed. He didn't want to play anymore, he just wanted that game to be over.
