Error had never thought of himself to be anything but the lone kid who was weird and quiet. Aside from Ink being his only friend, he felt as if he wouldn't achieve much else. And that, even one day Ink would leave him and he'd be on his own. Only with his brothers to turn to on occasion. Sad thing was, he really believed it. He had no sense of doubt in it. Especially once in school. He was bullied a lot. Up till the half middle school, when his mom had to final pull him out for the rest of the year and the next. But, after that, his mom wanted to go out an try again for freshman year. Error, of course, despised this idea. But, he was forced to try. Despite his beliefs of how it would go, he would be very surprised.

The weekend before school, Error was with Ink at a park with some ice cream. Error having his usual blueberries and chocolate, while Ink just had a cookie ice cream sandwich. Ink licked some ice cream off his fingers before looking at Error and humming. "So, what do you think school will be like now that we're in high school? I heard there might be some new students cause they were online. Kinda like you!" Ink said as Error rolled his eyes a little and sighed. "I feel it will be the same. My mom told me that, if it's anything like the start of 7th grade, I can do an alternative school or go back online." He said and Ink frowned with a little pout. "But Error! High school is the best part of life!" Ink said. Error looking at him scoffing. "Have you seen any high school related movie? Or, books? Or- anything for that matter?!" He said. "High school, is just a bunch of drama and people who you'll probably never see again. So, even if you go through a bunch of pain and suffering, it'll be seen as stupid or something in the future." Error argued.

Ink shaking his head. "So what?! It build character and experience! Besides, the real world isn't as bad as school. It can be a lot worse, so, having high school delmas that can sorta relate to real world problems! So if you were ever in a tight spot, you could think back of high school and get through it easier!" Ink said. Error dead panning him before shaking his head. "You're to naive Ink." He said and soon finished his ice cream and got up to head to the bathroom and wash his hands. "I am not!" Ink said as he threw away the rest of his ice cream and followed Error. "I'm just trying to see the positive side! Why can't you?" Ink said. Error starting to wash his hands off and he groaned a bit. "Ink. I was treated like garbage my past years. Only till finally there was enough to get me out. And now, I have to go back and relive it all! Sorry if I'm not as optimistic as you!" He said as he splashed some water in Ink's face then dried them. "The only thing, that may make it bearable is if I blend in and stay in the shadows rather than stand out and look weird." Error scoffed and put his hands in his pockets and started walking out. Ink washing his hands quick and kinda lazy before shaking his hands around the dry them.

"Error! Come on! Don't-" Ink stared but Error shook his head and turned to him. "Enough Ink. I want to go home." He said and then turned back to walk home in silence. Ink sighing in defeat and walking back home with him.

Now, only a few hours left before the dreaded Monday morning. Error had miserably spent the whole day sulking while getting everything he needed ready for the first week of school again. A few hours before bed, he laid on the couch face firstin agony. Just slowly dying on the inside. "Error...You're being a little...dramatic don't you think?..." His elder brother Geno asked. "No..." Error muffled with his face still on the couch cushion. Geno sighed and sat down on the floor next to him. "Error...I know you're nervous and upset about going back to school but, it's only one year if things go badly. And it won't be as bad as 7th..." Geno said softly. Error lifting his head and staring Geno down. "Geno. That is exactly the problem. It will be 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦 than 7th. 7th, I only had to worry about getting the snot beaten out of me. This year? I have much more than just a few punches to the stomach and kicks to the head." He said and then slumped his head back down and Geno frowned with a sigh. "Error, being a freshman isn't easy for anyone. I'm sure most of your freshman class are going to feel the same as you. Besides, I'm sure you'll have a class or two with Fresh." He said and Error groaned. "Great- more reason to hate..." He said as Geno sighed once more before getting up. "You better get ready for bed, you know mom doesn't like driving us." He said and Error groaned while getting up himself and depressingly walking to the stairs. "Yeah...yeah...I know..." He said as Geno sighed while walking with him and they went to their rooms.

Error shut his door and groaned before seeing Fresh in his closet and he jumped a little. "What are you doing in my room?!" He yelled. "Nothinggggg, just wondering if I could borrow some stuff for school tomorrow! Like, all your old emo clothes! Hehe!" Fresh laughed and teased as Error growled and grabbed one of his slippers on the floor. "GET OUT OF MY ROOM YOU LITTLE SHIT!-" Error yelled. Fresh getting up and laughing while Error chased him out and then started to hit him with his slipper. Until their mom came around and threated to do much worse if they didn't get in bed. Fresh teasing Error one last time before going into his room. Error doing the same and having even bigger worries and doubts for the week that was about to start
