# Chapter 4

Jisoo could feel it, the thrill of sitting next to Lisa, she felt it the first time too, it was just that she didn't wanted to accept that yet.

There was no denying it - Lisa indeed will be the 'Alpha's mate'. Because even if she was a human or so she thought, she has nice pheromones, capable enough to make anyone who smells it crazy. And the only drawback of it - since she was a human or somewhat not a werewolf, even Betas or Deltas could smell her.

"Hey! What is your date of birth?" Jisoo asked Lisa looking at her from the edge of her eyes.

"27 March." Lisa said looking ahead of her, since class was going on and the teacher was explaining Parabola in graph.

"WOAH! Do you have any plans for it?" Jisoo said taking a glance at her and then quickly averted her gaze back on the teacher.

"I used to celebrate it with my family, relatives and friends. But something miserable happened at my fourteenth birthday so... I don't celebrate it from then on, it was a measure trauma for me." Lisa thought back of the time when she got to know about her father and shook her head at the memory - One of her worst nightmare - the humiliation she felt was undeniably terrible.

"Okay since you don't celebrate it, why not come with me? My sister's birthday is at the same date, she doesn't celebrate it either, if you come she will definitely celebrate it." Jisoo said with dreamy eyes.

"Ah- As much I want to accept I think I will pass, there will be a ton of assignments and assessments around that time." Lisa said apologetically.

"Oh it's a-alright." Jisoo replied, her lips turning into a frown.

"When is your birthday by the way?" Lisa asked to ease the awkwardness.

"25 January, I am two months older than you." Jisoo said with a chuckle.

"Oh Yeah."

Both the girl's stretched their bodies while exiting the classroom.

"It was so tiring, I don't wanna come back here everyday." Jisoo said almost crying and hugged Lisa while Lisa was still stretching her sore body.

"Hehe… Will you stop clinging to me?" Lisa yawned.

Jisoo backed off and made a pout with her lips.

'Cute' thought Lisa.

"Well, now I gotta go home, see you tommorow?" Lisa said scratching her neck.

"OFCOURSE!" Jisoo said a bit too enthusiastically.

They both laughed and went in different paths to reach their destination, which was home for Lisa while Pack house for Jisoo.

Lisa usually walked to school, it was a thirty minutes route. She often take short-routes too, today she decided to go from the short-route.

The short-route being a dense forest but it wasn't half scary as the route she usually takes for home, the usual route was the lonely road, it was a long path and there were barely any vehicles going on, so she liked this dense forest better.

She walked silently, sounds of insects and rustling of trees and plants was soothing. It made her heart at peace.

Suddenly she heard rustling from the thorns, she looked at it, not even a bit scared.

"Umm- Hello? Oh! It's a dog?" She exclaimed after seeing a big black dog with silver lining in between.

'Ah- Dog… WAIT WHAT? SHE DIDN'T JUST CALLED ME A DOG, DID SHE?!' Thought apparantly the 'dog'.

"You are so cute." Lisa said ruffling its fur.

The 'dog' too melted in the comfort of Lisa's grasp.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Lisa screamed in surprise and excitement as the 'dog' plunged at her in a friendly way.

It licked Lisa's neck making her laugh hysterically.

"Hey stop it, that tickles hahaha!" She couldn't stop herself from laughing, she could never imagine herself laughing so freely in front of anyone.

"It's good you're an animal, if you were human it would have been so awkward and I wouldn't have been opened up so freely." She said with a gentle smile and ruffled its fur, the 'dog' still on top of her.

"Awoo awoo!"

"You know I hate my life, like literally my mother lied to me about my father! Who does that? I don't even know how many more lies she have told me till now and how many she will tell me in the future. I am fed up by all of this!" She said with visible tears in her eyes, her voice being hoarse by how hard she was trying not to break down in front of an animal.

"Awoo…" The 'dog' said as if being sad and in the form of comforting her.

"Haha… What an idiot I am to seek comfort from an animal." Lisa said and as she was about to wipe her tears the 'dog' leapt forward and licked it.

Lisa stared dreamily at the animal, it was mesmerizing sight to see, she focused her gaze on the animal's eyes which were unusually silver in colour; it complimented the silver lining on it's fur.

"Has anyone ever told you that you are very breathtaking?" Lisa said still in a trance.

If animal would also have a mechanism to blush the 'dog' would have been a total ripe apple by how red its cheek would have been.

"Stupid me, why would someone say that to an animal? I am the only idiot who talks to animals." She laughed sheepishly.

"Maybe we can meet here everyday? But you don't even understand human language… I have a bad luck with friends I guess, you are very kind, I will name you umm- Lunar? It rhymes with silver, which resembles your eye colour! I am such a genius!" She said making a pose with her fingers below her lips as if she was smiling.

"Awwoo!"

"So you liked it afterall? I am glad." She said smiling like a maniac.

"I gotta go I am late, like super late, my mother will kill me if I am more than ten minutes late, goodbye." She said ruffling its hair and kissed it on it's head.

She was soon out of sight.

A girl with bloodshot red eyes could be seen in the place of the 'dog' without any clothes with a blush on her face, " She named you Lunar… it's good."
