Chapter 27

"What brings you here, Som?" Payu asked clearly irritated by the guy's presence. He walked into the living room and sat down with his legs crossed, he smirked at him arrogantly, sure that there was nothing Som could do to make up his innocence. Pete was very annoyed by his son's behavior, after hearing Som's version, he thought that the guy deserved a chance and he was going to do whatever was necessary to let him have one. Vegas couldn't care less about Som, he actually enjoyed the show and so he just stayed silent in a corner of the living room, watching chaos unfold.

"Payu, I'm here to fix what my sister caused. Allow me to do that, please" Som started.

"Your sister finally did something right. There is no version that could ever change the facts I witnessed through that video. I have to ask you to leave this house, drop the act, seriously, there is no logical reason to make yourself pathetic" Payu interrupted him.

"It isn't my version... Payu... these are facts..." Som replied as he sobbed a little. He took his phone out of his pocket, he looked for the complete video that he recovered from his sister's phone and then proceeded to play it. Everyone in the room got closer to Payu to watch it.

"See? He just kissed him, and he..." Payu said as he saw the part where Mark kissed Som, but he stopped right after that. He was about to say that Som didn't react at all, but as the video continued playing, the part where Som slapped and yelled at Mark played. Payu's eyes were wide because of the shock, he looked at Som and realized the twist of the situation.

"I'm sorry, Payu, but I had to show it to you. Ple is still obsessed and she wanted us to break up, that's why she gave you the video. But now that you saw it..."

"We cannot get back together"

"What?" Som asked confused.

"We cannot get back together. I... I need to be left alone for a moment" Payu said and left the room. Som didn't understand what was going on, he followed his boyfriend and finally managed to grab his hand in the corridor, forcing Venice to stop.

"Why can't we get back together? If you really want to break up with me, I won't stop you... but... but I deserve to know the reason, don't you agree with me?" Som said.

"I... I cheated on you..." Payu started. Those words were like daggers for Payu himself. At first he felt confident because he knew he was right, but now that he discovered that Som was innocent, he felt like nothing more than a filthy cheater, and he couldn't handle that feeling.

"I... I understand, Payu... you were angry, that is... that is totally justifiable. I forgive you, if this is what you want..." Som continued, even if he felt tears run down his cheeks.

"With Rain..." Payu added.
