The carriages pulled up to a gorgeous, six-bedroom lake house named Cassiopeia. It was a giant modern lake house that graced the shores of a tranquil and picturesque lake. Its contemporary design, featuring sleek lines, expansive glass windows, and a harmonious blend of stone and wood accents, seamlessly merged with the natural surroundings. The vast front yard, meticulously landscaped with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, stretched towards the water's edge, offering an inviting space for outdoor activities.

As the kids were admiring their temporary place of residence, a water balloon unexpectedly came flying and hit Edris in the back of his head. All the kids began howling in laughter, leaving Edris blushing in rage and embarrassment.

"Who did that?!" He bellowed.

Honeybelle was standing behind them with a bucket of colourful water balloons and a large collection of water guns. A playful smirk graced her face.

As the golden hues of pink and gold painted the sky, a lively water fight unfolded in the expansive front yard where the enthusiastic group, armed with water balloons and guns, engaged in playful chaos. Amusement echoed as water droplets sparkled in the warm, fading light. The air was filled with the sounds of gleeful shouts and the occasional squeals of delight. The group split into two teams: Bea, Isa, Evie, Odie, Edris and Pander were on one team and both sets of twins, Posy, Honeybelle and Mari were on another. The kids, in fits of giggles, tried to dodge the bursts of water while simultaneously strategizing their next moves- desperate to win the battle.

In the middle of the fight, in order to avoid being drenched by Evander and Ender a fleeting moment occurred when Mari ran to Posy and wrapped her arms around her waist, hiding behind her back. The pair shared a genuine laugh while holding onto each other for support, trying to not fall over.

In that moment, Posy briefly imagined a harmonious sisterly relationship between herself and Mari- one where loving moments like these could happen everyday. In Posy's imagined world, the air was filled with laughter instead of tension as she envisioned a life where Mari was not so mean. In their shared room, they would spend evenings chatting about their day, sharing secrets, and bonding over shared interests. As Posy reveled in the warmth of her daydreams, reality abruptly interrupted. Posy was jolted back to the cold truth, realising that the harmony she craved remained just a wistful illusion.

As night fell, the sleeping arrangements stirred a mix of excitement and apprehension. The four youngest were all sharing one huge room, Posy and Honeybelle were sharing a second room, and Mari had opted for a room by herself.

Evie, Pander, Bea, Odie, Edris and Isa stood awkwardly in a circle, exchanging glances amongst themselves.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm sharing with Pander!" Evie announced, taking Pander by the hand again.

Pander once again felt the warmth arouse in his cheeks, and the symphony of butterflies. He felt an electric spark when she intertwined her hand with his, and before he could say anything, Evie dragged Pander to find a bedroom.

Isa's face fell seeing Odie and Bea smirk at her and then each other, knowing exactly what the cunning duo had in mind for their eldest sister.

"Odie, can we please switch beds? I really don't want to share with... Edris." Isa begged Odie.

"Oh, but Isa, it's bonding time for the future heirs. We'll be practically family." Odie smiled innocently.

"Please, Odie, I'm begging you. You know you're my favourite sister! I'll buy you anything tomorrow-"

"No can do, sister dear. Bea and I have already decided to share a room. It's much cosier."

Bea giggled and linked arms with Odie, "Sorry, Isa. You'll survive a night with Edris. At least you'll have the master bedroom!"
