Vesper sat a couple of seats behind Quinn and Finn, munching on some M&M's as she listened to Quinn's list of possible jobs for Finn to apply to.

Quinn hadn't gotten back to Vesper about what they talked about in that empty classroom a couple of days ago. But, she hasn't been getting glared at or eyes rolled at her as much.  So Vesper is going to take that as a win and one step forward.

She just has to accept that Quinn, over time, will slowly warm up to her. But it seems like Quinn's next problem, other than being kicked off the Cheerios, is paying her pregnancy bills and helping Finn get a job.

" Well, what about Target?" Quinn asked, making Finn sigh and shake his head.

" Tried. Not hiring" was his response as Vesper rolled her eyes, tossing a M&M into the air and catching it with her mouth.

" Another doctor's bill came to my parents' house last night, Finn. We're lucky that I'm clever and intercepted it. But we have to start paying these doctor's bills or they are going to go to a collections agency and then my parents are going to find out that I'm with child. Your child"

You mean my child.

Vesper barely held back her scoff, sighing as she leaned into her chair, shoving more M&M's in her mouth. She didn't understand why Quinn wouldn't just take her money. She could pay the bill and Quinn wouldn't have to keep being at risk with these bills. Vesper couldn't understand why she was risking it.

" All right, guys" Shoe yelled, walking into the choir room.

" We're doing a new number for sectionals. I know that pop songs have sort of been our signature pieces, but I did a little research on past winners, and it turns out that the judges like songs that are more accessible. Stuff, they know. Uh, standards, broadway"  Shoe explained, going into detail.

" Defying Gravity?" Kurt spoke up excitedly. " I have an iPod shuffle dedicated exclusively to selections from Wicked. This is amazing!" He squeaked out.

" Think you can handle it, Rachel?" Shoe asked the big bird, whose eyes widened.

Vesper watched the smile visibly melt off Kurt's face when Shoe once again, chose Rachel to sing everything. Vesper didn't care much about singing in the club but she was starting to get tired watching everything get handed to Rachel. It always left the others watching with disappointment.

" It's my go-to shower song. It's also my ringtone" Kurt and Vesper rolled their eyes at that.

Vesper hated the sound of her voice.

" Why do we have to go all vanilla on this song?" Mercedes asked. " See, what we need is my chocolate thunder" she sassed.

" Okay, we don't have time to rearrange a song for you Mercedes. Rachel is singing it" Shoe said firmly as he placed his hands on his waist.

" Why not? You rearranged the song for her when April was here and that was minutes before the show. Why can't you do it now?" Vesper asked, making Shoe chuckle nervously, scratching at his chin.

" The circumstances were a little different there" he weakly said.

" Not really" Vesper shrugged, tossing the M&M's wrapper over her shoulder without a care. It landed on Santana's shoes so which prompted her to slap the back of Vesper's neck.

Shoe shook his head ignoring the abuse.
" Don't worry, we'll find something for you to dip in chocolate" he said, making Mercedes tap Vesper's thigh gratefully.

" On to item two. The school won't pay for the special bus we need to take Artie and his wheelchair with us to Sectionals" Shoe announced, making Vesper frown.
