It was crazy how quickly Thanksgiving was approaching. Landon and his dad decided to stay away and visit family for the holiday, and I was ecstatic. They left today since they had a huge dinner planned in a couple days. I sat at the kitchen table as Gabby yelled at Adam over the phone.

“I’M TRYING TO OKAY- STOP IT- JUST- REALLY? INTERRUPT ME ONE MORE TIME!” Adam and Gabby have been a wreck since they split up. He doesn’t want to commit to her, but he hates not having her there when he wants her. She made the decision to only go back to him if he proposed to her, which God only knows if that would ever happen. She had finished moving out of his house just a few days ago. Landon hated the fact that she was back, so now I had to spend more nights at his house, which I despised. He got me really good the other night, just behind my ear with the razor blade. It hurt like hell, and I’m glad it wasn’t too deep. He found the roses in my flat and interrogated me about them. I tried to convince him that they were Gabby’s, but he knew I was lying since her and Adam are fighting. If it wasn’t one thing it was another. “God he is so irritating.” Gabby rubbed her eyes after placing the phone in front of her on the table.

“Sorry Gab.” She looked up at me and smiled softly. “So, what do you want to do for Thanksgiving?”

“Damn, that’s in like, what? Two days?” I nodded and she tapped her fingers on the table. “Well, I know some of my friends that are going out so I guess I’ll go with them. You could go out with Lexi and Nicki or something right?”

“Yeah. I could.” I tried to smile, but I knew that those two would be up to no good and I really wanted no part of it.

I walked over to sit by Bella on the couch, hugging her in my arms. My phone started buzzing and I saw the name. “Bella, Daddy’s calling.” I said rubbing her head before answering it. Harry and I haven’t really hung out since that night at the party. We both got busy with our families and I really started to miss him. He knew Landon was going out of town and said we would meet up while he’s gone. “Hey there.”

“Hello beautiful.” I never got tired of hearing that deep, raspy voice on the other side of the phone. “So, I was wondering what your plans are this Thursday?”

“Ugh, I was just talking about this with Gabby. I have no idea what I’m doing.” I sighed and rolled my eyes as I watched the random show playing on tv.

“Come over.” I could tell it wasn’t a question, more of a command. “You won’t regret it, I promise.”

“Hmm, persuade me.” I said, smiling to myself and leaning back onto the cushions to get more comfortable.

“Well, besides having awesome food AND dessert, there will be a surprise.” He drug out the last word, making me anxious.

“What kind of surprise?” He laughed, knowing I would for sure be coming because of my curiosity.

“You’ll have to wait and see.”

“Of course I will. You did that on purpose.” I groaned into the phone.

“Maybe I did, but I promise you’ll love it.”

We didn’t talk much longer, he had to get off the phone. I found myself bored after I hung up, not knowing what I should do today. My mind wondered what Harry’s surprise for me was. He always gave me little gifts and they all meant so much to me. One day, he actually asked me what happened to the necklace he gave me a while ago. I told him I was hiding it from Landon. When he got rough with me he could rip it off quite easily and that was the last thing I wanted. Since Landon would be gone I locked the necklace back around me, holding it close.

“WHERE IS SHE? WHERE’S KAM?” I heard a high pitch squeal by the front door. I turned around and saw Lexi rushing over to me with a grin plastered on her face. She sat practically on top of me and I could almost hear how fast her heart was beating.
