I and Sri, along with my other friends, walked into the meeting hall where the principal was talking to the police. He looked up at us when we stood in front of them.
"Hey Sri, y/n, intha cat and mouse game la venam, unmaiya sollunga JD thana karanam?" the sir said. (Hey Sri, y/n, we don't need this cat and mouse game, tell me the truth, is JD the reason?)
"Sir, sathiyama illa, sir," I tried to convey to him. (Sir, honestly no, sir)
"Who, who is it, your father?" the principal asked us. I scoffed at him.
"Sir, Saveetha ku nadantha visayum unga ellarukume theriyum. Avala sexual ah harass panna antha rendu paradhesi kalum ava la enna senjakanu," Sri tried to explain as the principal cut him off. (Sir, everyone knows about the issue involving Saveetha. Those two asshole sexually harassed her, and she defended herself)
"Hey, hey, mind your words," he said. "Spit the gum first." Sri took the gum from his mouth. "I said throw it out."
"Sir, inipu innum pola sir pona apuram veliya poi pottura sir," Sri said as we students laughed. (Sir, there is still sugar. I'll throw it afterwards)
"Sir, ava-la sexual harassment panna magaangalayum oru varam suspend panniga. Athu pathalanu naga police complaint kuduthom. Ivanga entha oru action-ah num edukama naalu anji nala enga suthal la vittu iruntha ka ennanu paatha intha aathik ooda appa oru businessman ah avaru avanga Canada annupa plan ponni iruparu pola athanala tha sir. Na pasanga ellarayum kuttitu avanga vittuku enna ethunu keka poi iruntha," I said to him. (Sir, you suspended them for one week, but we want them to suffer more. Therefore, we filed a complaint against them. However, the police didn't take action. Later, we learned that Aathilk's father is sending them to Canada. So, we gathered the boys and went to their house to talk to them.)
I stood next to Sri, along with our friends, watching the house with JD in line with me.
"Hello dei, anna, avanga innu kelambala vittula irunthu, innu ulla irukanga nu nenaikura. Aana pakkava etho plan panni irukanganu mattum therithu puthusu puthusa aalunga vera vanthutu poranga," I said to JD through the phone. (Hello, brother. They are still in the house. I think they are planning something, and some guys are keep coming and going)
"Sir sir, avanga pechu sound kekuthu veliya varanganu nenaikura," Sri said as we saw the two rascals coming out of the house with his father and entered the car and drove away. (Sir, sir, I think they are coming out)
"Dei vanga da," I said as we all ran to the boys' parked bike, and I climbed on Sri's bike as the boys started the bike and we drove away. Now we are following the car. (Let's go, boys)
"Avanga rendu perum vittula irunthu kelambitanga," I said as I continued to give the location to him. At one point, we came to the signal as we saw the two coming out of the car and running to the bus, entering it. (Both of them left the house)
"JD, rendu perum v70 bus la eri poranga da-" I said before hearing the sound of the call being cut off. I looked at the phone to see that the call had been disconnected. (JD, both of them are getting on the V70 bus—)
"Enna di aachu?" Sri asked me. (What happened?)
"Avan phone ah cut pannita da," I told him, and he sighed. (He hung up)
"Avan bus ah pudichuduva. Ne bus ah follow pannu," I instructed him. (He'll catch that bus. you follow the bus)
"Sir, thidirnu paatha bus stand-la erangi odittanuga. Nalla vela, ivan bike-la vantha," Sri said, pointing to his left. (Sir, suddenly they entered the bus stand. Thank God he came on a bike.)
"Dei, athu ava illa da na," Vicky corrected Sri. (Hey, that's not him; that's me.)
"Sorry, sir. Athu ivan," Sri said, pointing to Vicky. (Sorry, sir, that's him)
"Dei, atho iruka paarunga da," I said as we all saw JD running on the road following the two. (There he is.)
"Sir, eruga sir," Vicky said as JD climbed on the back of his bike. Then, we all followed them as they entered the metro rail. JD climbed out of the bike and entered the metro, while we turned the bike and drove to the airport station. (Sir, hop on.)
"Appadiye anga irunthu vandhu share auto-la erintaanga, sir," I said. (They got off right there and took a shared auto, sir)
"Paatha, adhu Jamil anna auto," Sri finished. (Saw it, that was Jamil anna's auto)
"Apram pasanga-la suthu pottu station-ku kuttitu poittanga, sir. Illa da?" I asked the boys as they all nodded their heads. (Then the boys captured them and took them to the station, isn't that right, boys?)
"Ama, sir." (Yes, sir.)
"Appo idhella nee tha panna?" Principal asked as we all nodded our heads. (So you guys did it?)
"Ama, sir." (Yes, sir.)
"JD-ku idhukku samatham illa." (JD has no involvement in this.)
"Sathyama illa, sir," we chorused. (Truthfully, sir)
"Sir, antha pasanga theliva solranga, unga staff JD thaan pannaganum nu solranga. Ivanga poi solranga, sir," the policeman said to Prinicipal. (Sir, those boys are clearly saying that your staff did it, but these guys are lying.)
"Enakku theriyum, sir. JD is the culprit," Principal said, and then the two staff members entered and informed that the minister had arrived, making everyone leave. (I know, sir. JD is the culprit)
"Y/n, Sri, ippa enna panurathu?" our friends asked as Sri and I looked at each other. (Y/n, Sri, what are we going to do now?)
"Dance adura namma pasanga la stage poga venam nu solluda," I said to them. (Tell our guys not to go on stage for the dance performance.)
