Part 1:

Chapter 1:

This is my untold story of when I found out about who I really am. It all started on my twelfth birthday: August 8th. I woke up in my purple bed and my gold pillows; I always liked colors that shined. I went to my mirror: my wavy blonde hair sat on my shoulders messily. Before I went down stairs I brushed my hair and my teeth. As I went down to my kitchen there was my dad smiling at me. He wished me a happy birthday and had made me a special birthday breakfast, or attempted to. There was a bowl of cereal and a muffin with a lit candlestick down the middle. My dad always tries so hard to try to replace my mother who left me alone with my father after I was born. My father only tells me she loved me dearly but she couldn’t stay with me because she had other things to worry about. I always accepted that, but I always wonder about her. I don’t even know what she looks like, my father said she is very beautiful and very wise.

My dad had left for work as I ate my breakfast. He left me a present on the kitchen table. When I opened it, the present was a brown leather journal and a note pinned to it:

Dear Rosalie,

Happy birthday, I figured I wouldn’t be here when you opened this. I am giving you this journal so you can wright your adventures and how your feeling on paper. I love you dearly, but I have a feeling I might not see you for a long time. I know you, your going to overreact to this, don’t. it will all make sense soon, happy birthday.

Love dad

Well he was right I’m going to over think this and there’s no stopping it. What was he talking about? I’m not going to see him for a while. I really don’t understand this.

Chapter 2:

I had to go to school and face the wrath of my mind. I can’t get my father’s note out of my head. As I was walking I felt like someone was following me and whenever I turned around know one was there. So I turned on a different street and hid behind a bush. But the person who was following me was just my friend Luke. Luke looked around and said some weird word I made out to be a curse in ancient Greek. How did I know that? I’ve never been able to understand Greek. I jumped out at him, but of course I could never scare him.

“Hey Luke. Why were you following me?” I asked him. “I was just trying to scare you, that’s all.” He said with a stern look. I could tell he didn’t want me to ask any more questions but I couldn’t help it. “ Since when can you curse in ancient geek?” I asked him. “ I can’t. I was just trying to give you a birthday scare! Speaking of that happy birthday!” He pulled out a rapped package and handed it to me. “Another book!” I said excitedly. “ No, no this year I decided to give you something a little more personal. But you have to promise me you wont ask me were I got it. Promise?” “I promise.” Although I don’t understand what it could possibly be. “Okay it’s from your mother and remember you can’t ask me where I got it.” He told me. I just stood there like an idiot with my mouth hung open. When I opened the package it was a silver charm bracelet with a pink owl charm on it. “I, I um I love it but I don’t understand.” I said. “Remember you can’t ask questions about that bracelet.” He told me.

We were on our usual route to school when we turned down a road that led to a taxi service. “What are we doing here?” I asked Luke. “I need to take you some where and you have to trust me.” He replied. “Okay I’ll go if you tell me how you got a gift from my mother.” He smiled and just said everything will be explained if I go to a camp, he called it Camp Half blood. Which I found weird because a half blood is a demigod and those certainly don’t exist. He told me it was a camp for kids like me; I assumed he meant kids with ADHD, since I have that but he said also kids who have dyslexia but that’s not why their there.  Normally I would never get in the taxi but I looked at Luke and saw that serious look in his eyes so I decided to go.
