Insane love

Dark

This is not a normal insane love story. This is just for fun.

Everything I see is dark. In fact doctors say I can't see anything and never will again. But they are wrong I still see the hills with flowers and birds. I see all the birds and other little critters. I see all of these things and I this place with so many happy people. They wave to me.But when I run to them they are gone. So I guess the doctors are somewhat right. I mean I can't see things that are in front of me. So I fall and bump into a lot of different things. The women who takes care of me says I should be more careful.

My parents died about 5 years ago, the same time when I was blinded. The lady , Mrs. Crow, said that My family was killed by a murderer and that I was beated. But I don't remember my family or being beated by anyone. I guess all I can do is believe what they all say. And I must do as I am told.

So I go to a special school. They don't teach us anything like the "normal" kids. They teach us to walk and use special tools. But I can't complain they are trying to help us all. There is this one boy at my bus stop. He told me his name was Chris, He even let me touch his face so I could try to feel what he looks like. But I couldn't tell. Soon he became my best friend. He reads me books, and takes me places. I feel bad that I can't help him, he always says " I am only trying to show you the world, and the world you. So it's the least I can do!"

I guess you can say he Is one of the nicest people ever. Not only does he care about me, I care deeply for him. So Today I told Him " I promise I will do anything for you. Because you are the kindest person in the world, but for some silly reason you choose me. And I steel you from the world. Because you could be doing so much more, helping so many more people. Having the time of you life. I mean Really you are so much greater than helping me, some silly girl." He comes close and hugs me saying " There is nothing nor no-one more important that you. You are my world. I Only want to be with you."

I was silent the rest of the night as we went home. Does he really feel this way? I mean I am just some dumb blind girl that no-one cares about. So I go to bed: I have this dream I am In this meadow and there is this man? He is blurry and calling my name " Katy. Katy is that you?" He keeps calling out. I start to run to him. But I fall and he becomes farther away. I wake up.

Mrs.Crow has made me pancakes and sings me 'Happy birthday'. I am now 19 years old. But I feel like I am 13 again coming to this place for the first time. But try to ignore that feeling. And eat the pancakes. When I am done Mrs. Crow says I should wear something nice, so she helps me put on some jeans and a tee shirt. ( I normally wear pjs) Then at noon the doorbell rings. It's Chris. He Is here to take me to surprise location. I am still a bit embarrassed about yesterday. But I don't think he notices.

After riding on the bus forever. We finally get off and we are in a park I am guessing. When all the sudden he grabs my hands and says " Katy I want to spend my whole life with you will you be mine forever. ...I mean will you marry me?" I have no words.
