16. A Shocking Revelation

-Morning-

I woke up, stretched, as well as, yawned.
I swung my legs round to the side of the bed, I got up, then walked towards the shower.
I got undressed, stepped into the shower, I began to wash myself.
Suddenly, I felt somebody behind me, I turned around.
I looked up at Diego, took a deep breath, whilst getting out of the shower.
I didn't want to speak to him, he choose money over me, what sort of man makes love to you then pawns you off?
I start getting dressed, I brushed my teeth, then decided to put my hair into a messy bun.

I put my shoes on, I grab my bag; purse, keys, as well as, overalls.
Today is the day, I start painting my shop, it's been a while.
I walk out of the mansion, then walk towards my car, I unlock it.
I sit in the drivers seat, put my seatbelt on, I place my bag in the passenger seat, then shut the car door.
Off I drive towards my shop, I felt excited, I'm finally going to have an income soon.
Finally, I arrive. It still looks empty as it did before, I grab my belongings.
I unbuckle my seat belt, whilst hopping out of the car, I shut the car door.
I lock my car, then grab my key out of my bag, then unlock the door.

I walk in, closing the door behind me, I put my overalls on.
I started to paint the walls a baby pink, after I painted, I began to clean up the place.
I've been in Spain for 2 months, so much has happened already, abruptly I hear the bell rings as the door opens.
"Sorry we're closed"
I hear silence, the person don't talk, just moves closer towards me.
I turned around, I was frozen, I couldn't speak or move.
It was my ex, from all those years ago, it was Derek.
Oh my fucking god!
He was the only person in this world, who made me feel powerless, he made me weak.

"Hey sweetie, you ok?" Derek asked
Hearing him speak, made me feel sick, I couldn't even bare the sight of him.
He strode closer and closer towards me, I didn't know what to do, I thought he was in prison.
I grab my phone, luckily, I text Lion: Help me x
It has sent, hopefully, he can knock this arse wipe out.
"Get out, I don't want you in here" I cried
If I can stand up to my mum, I can stand up to him, I felt fire in my hands.
"That's no way to speak to your bf" Derek replied
"Ex-boyfriend" I answered
Derek went to punch me, I dodged it, I grabbed my gun.
"Put your fucking hands on me again, see what fucking happens!" I shouted

Unexpectedly, Lion walks in, he came just in the nick of time.
I was just about to shoot his arse, Diego came along too, why was he here for?
"You okay V?" Lion asked
"This arse hole is my ex Derek, get rid of him for me. He just tried hitting me" I cried
The look on Lion's face, he looked like he was fuelled up with anger, he was ready to take anybody out.
Lion began hitting him, Lion placed a gun on his forehead, he wasn't playing.
"Who the fuck are you?" Derek asked
"Your worst fucking nightmare" Lion cried
Lion shot him. Lion placed Derek's body into a body bag, Diego and Lion placed his body in the boot of their car, thank god I don't have to put up with him anymore.
I see Lion and Diego drive off, probably to go dump the body, suddenly, I heard a noise in the kitchen.

I walked slowly into the kitchen, there stood in there was my mum, what the fuck is she doing here?
I grab her out of the kitchen, whilst throwing her outside, I don't want her anywhere near me.
Even the sight of her, made my blood boil, why hasn't she gone back to Italy yet?
Suddenly, I felt sick, I don't know why but I did.
I puked in a bucket, I didn't have time to get to the toilet, abruptly, Lion walks back into the shop.
"You okay?" Lion asked
"Yeah, I don't feel too good. I've just puked" I reply
Lion looked at me shocked, what was he thinking? I hope he wasn't thinking the same thing as me.
"Are you pregnant?" Lion asked
"No it can't be, I'm on the pill too" I answer
"We will go shop to get a pregnancy test, let's go" Lion replied
I locked the shop doors, so my mum didn't snoop back in here, I didn't understand why she was here. Unless, she set Derek up, that is something she'd do.

I cleaned out the bucket quickly with some bleach, I took my overalls off, whilst I grabbed my belongings.
I walked outside, locking the shop door behind me, I unlocked my car.
I got into it, I placed my belongings in the back, I put my seatbelt on.
"Show me the directions Lion, I don't know Spain as much as you do" I answered
Lion nodded, I started the car up, off we drove.
We stopped outside a Superdrug store, I unbuckle the seat belt. I hop out of the car, I shut the car door behind me.
I lock the car, Lion came with me, for safety reasons. Besides, he was my brother, I wanted him with me.

I grabbed 2x clear blue tests, as they were the best ones, I head towards the counter.
"Hi there, would you like a bag?" The lady asked
"No, that's okay. Thank you" I smile
"That'll be €4 please" the cried
I hand her the 4 euros, I grab the tests, whilst waiting for my receipts.
"Thank you, have a good day" I reply
I walked out of the shop, unlocked my car, then hopped in it.
I put my seat belt on, placed the tests into my bag, then off we drive back to Diego's mansion.

"Are you going to tell him, if you're pregnant?" Lion asked
"Yes, he's the dad. He deserves to know..."
