A long time ago, during the Cretaceous–Paleogene period, dinosaurs roamed the Earth. However, at the end of the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs, some sea creatures and ancient mammals managed to escape to Hollow Earth. Fast forward seventy-seven billion years to the year 2023, where a scientist named Amanda Hawks and her team made a groundbreaking discovery near South America.
While exploring ruins, Amanda's team stumbled upon caves adorned with ancient paintings and engravings. These artworks depicted creatures that seemed to be straight out of mythology or cryptid legends. One particular painting caught their attention - a map of the world with symbols that could potentially be landmarks. Intrigued, Amanda divided her team, sending one group to Greece, another to Iran, and leading her own team to Japan to investigate further.
However, tragedy struck when the second team in Greece encountered a massive creature living underground. This ancient animal possessed the body of a lion, two goat horns on its head, and a long, snake-like tail. They named it the Chimera, and it measured a staggering 40 meters in length. The Chimera, filled with fury, attacked and killed the team before wreaking havoc on nearby cities.
Meanwhile, in Iran's Sabalan mountain, something extraordinary occurred. A giant, dark brown falcon emerged from the mountaintop, soaring through the sky with immense power. Its wings created strong winds, lifting trees and small houses into the air. This colossal bird, known as the Roc, flew at incredible speeds, snatching cows from fields and causing widespread panic. The townspeople quickly recognized the creature from ancient legends.
News of these giant creatures spread rapidly, reaching Amanda as she arrived in Japan. There, she met a man named Yoi Walker, whose family had a mysterious connection to ancient dinosaurs or animals. Together with Yoi and her remaining team, Amanda embarked on a quest to find a lost shrine hidden deep within a forgotten forest in Japan. This shrine was dedicated to a specific deity, believed to be a protector or guardian. Its appearance resembled that of a dragon, surrounded by symbols of rain clouds.
As Amanda stepped into the shrine, she inadvertently fell through the floor, leading her into an underground cavern with an enormous lake. The lake shimmered with dazzling deep blue sparkles, captivating her attention. Suddenly, she noticed two glowing golden eyes emerging from the water. Fear and shock gripped her as she witnessed movement beneath the surface. Then, a large reptile head emerged, staring at Amanda without displaying any hostility.
Curiosity overcame her fear, and Amanda cautiously approached the creature, eventually raising her hand to touch its snout. Yoi, who had managed to reach the cavern, witnessed Amanda's interaction with the creature, which he referred to as Ryūjin no Gādain. Amanda soon realized that this was not a mere lizard but a majestic dragon, resembling a Chinese water dragon with horns.
In a moment of desperation, Amanda asked the dragon if it could save them from the Chimera and the Roc, which were currently terrorizing cities. The dragon glanced at her and then dipped its head back into the water. Suddenly, it emerged from the lake, spreading its magnificent wings and soaring towards the city. Amanda and her team quickly boarded a small jet to witness the unfolding events.
The dragon engaged in a fierce aerial battle with the Roc, attempting to bring it down. With a powerful bite to the Roc's neck, the dragon managed to pin it down, causing it to crash to the ground. Roaring at the bird, the dragon seemed to be trying to communicate something. Astonishingly, the Roc appeared to calm down.
However, the Chimera suddenly appeared, launching itself at the dragon. A fierce battle ensued, with the Chimera spewing fireballs from its mouth. The dragon used its wings to shield itself from the blasts, then unleashed a powerful lightning blast in retaliation. The force of the blast sent the Chimera crashing into several buildings.
Despite being weakened, the Chimera refused to give up and charged at the dragon once more. However, the dragon caught it by its horn and threw it back to the ground. Another lightning blast struck the Chimera, causing it to collide with more buildings. Finally, the Chimera, weakened and defeated, retreated back to its underground cavern. The Roc followed suit, returning to its own domain.
The dragon flew back into the sky, but instead of returning to where it was found, it disappeared into the heavens. Amanda, filled with gratitude, thanked the dragon for saving the people. However, she couldn't help but wonder what other incredible creatures might still reside in the depths of Hollow Earth.
As Amanda and her team reflected on their extraordinary encounter, they realized that the world was far more mysterious and fantastical than they had ever imagined. The Hollow Earth held countless secrets, waiting to be discovered by those brave enough to venture into its depths. And so, their journey continued, fueled by a newfound sense of wonder and a determination to unravel the mysteries that lay hidden beneath the surface of our world.
