I stood in front of him, the mirror me. I hated his evil red eyes, and his ebony black hair. His bright white skin was identical to my porcelain skin. And his weapons were darker variants of mine. I admired his ferocity and form. But I was sick of this. I looked up to see Hades, floating above with his shadow wings that gave off a dark, deep void aura.

I focused my concentration into the palm of my hand and felt a growing heat. I looked back down to “Josh-esque” and punched him as he rushed to me. I saw his face become broken.

He few back and dropped to the ground and gripped the falling pieces of his masked face.

I dashed towards Josh-esque and drew my sais. I saw him create a sword out of deep black flames. He ran towards me. My heart was pounding; I couldn’t believe what I just witnessed. A sword, that materialised out of flames and smoke.

“YOU SHALL BREATHE NO LONGER!” I screamed.

He just gave a low growl and murmur. Black smoke still fell from his face and his skin began to show. If you could call it skin. It was a veiny, grey face. No colour, nothing, but the monster. His teeth began to come to a point. And his eyes turned the colour of the deepest reaches of the dark void. He swung his sword into the air and his weapon began exude black smoke. I was mesmerised, but I couldn’t be for long before it slashed straight down above my head. I leapt out of the way as it jammed into the ground.

Josh-esque cried with hatred and pulled on the sword, but it would not budge. I smirked from under my hood. I took my sais and walked up to him slowly before stabbing his throat and slicing it open and black smoke and energy poured from his throat as he cried. I charged my blades with the energy from within my heart. I felt my hands begin to burn, and my heart begin to push against my rib cage. The blades erupted with orange energy and he began to scream. I was hurting him.

Lights began to peek through the dark man’s back and chest, but before I could finally kill him, I was pulled away from him.

“No,” I yelped.

I looked up to see Hades in the sky with black energy wrapped around me, pulling me away and holding me down. Selene must have seen me because I saw Selene’s shimmering blade slice through the shroud. And release Hades’ hold over me. Hades screamed and he disappeared in a cloud of black. Sparks of fire fell from the sky and were the only remaining thing of him that remained on the battlefield. Before I could catch my breath, Josh-esques’ blade pierced my chest.

He must have freed it from its space in the side of the pyramid.  The black energy began to erupt from my nostrils and my eyes fell asleep as I lost sight and conciseness.

A light appeared before me.

It began to surround me and I was happy again. The light began to form three figures. All female and all beautiful.

“What sorcery is this?” I asked humbly.

“We do not have a lot of time, we can only be here for limited time before you awaken again,” The first girl says.

“Wha…-…awaken?” I stuttered.

“Hush child of the mist, you must sacrifice your own life to save the world! You must put the world before your own spiritual needs!” They said in unison.

“What do you mean a sacrifice?” I asked again, this time ready to draw my sword and slit their throats. I looked at their eyes and saw the cloudiness of them, they were blind.

“This sword,” the woman reached out and held an orb that showed Selene gripping her godly sword, “ this sword has been dipped in the blood of Zeus and showered with Athena’s wisdom, it is the only thing that can kill a God. One such as yourself. Or your copy. But the only way to kill a copy, is to destroy the original, the source of its power, yourself,” with that , they were gone and I opened my eyes.

To see the destruction of the plane crash and the two figures that walked from the flaming wreckage.
