CHAPTER 1 ashes

Well this is my second week at this new school as the hall monitor. But I'm the one for upstairs. The other hall monitor is a little stuck up beat that takes this whole hall monitor thing way to seriously....once before school started he was talking to me about us being the only thing between order and chaos like I give any fucks about what he is saying and a kid came up the stairs and he flipped out dude....man I hate him- I think his name is stevie or whatever I really didnt care much about his stupid name. Well today I was just doing my thing like smoking and giving carla hall passes not to tell my parents cuz people ain't to fond of a 16 year old smoking at school.....or smoking at all in that matter. But during lunch time I'm the only one in the halls bc that beat stevie does something in the mess hall or something I dont know. But when I smoke I Normally stay in the boys bathroom during lunch and yea I would rather smoke outside or something so I dont choke on the left over smoke lingering in the air but I kinda cant. But I listen to the birds all day of I could but today I heard screaming coming from the mess hall and I run in there I immediately get something thrown at my face but I ducked and saw stevie of all people hiding under a table. He grabbed he by my hoodie like a jerk and pulled me under the lunch table and he was just screaming like dude it made my ears bleed "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE HALLS!" for a second as he was screaming the little dumbass voice in the back of my head was telling me that.....he was attractive. I blush a bit but shook my head to tell myself to shut the fuck up- "DAMIEN ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!?!" I realised that he had been screaming at me the whole time but shortly after the principal came in with her pink suit that kinda hurt my eyes,and her blonde hair shining- which is really weird to me cuz who's hair is THAT shiny? "NOW WHATS GOING ON HERE?!?" Like dude as soon as she walked in everyone froze immediately and was quiet. Like some kid in the middle of throwing food and he froze. After a bit of her screaming she walked back into her office. After that the mess hall was completely quiet. After stevie took me out of the mess hall into the halls and yelled at me. Man his voice is so high pitched it made my ears bleed even more than last time. "WHY THE HALL DID YOU THINK COMING INTO THE MESS HALL WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!?" Man.....that little voice in the back of my head was loud......and not very little anymore. It kept telling me stevie was hot but I kept telling my self I was going crazy......"....god damn dude calm down I didn't do anything.....like God-" which was what I said said but he didnt like that one bit until he smelt the smell of cigarette smoke coming off of me I guess because he went "damien why do you smell like cigarettes?" I told him he was going crazy and I went up stairs back to my post. I dont think he liked me calling him crazy at all...."IM NOT CRAZY YOU ARE!" like dude that little brat is crazy but I guess I am......somewhat crazy at least
