••Prologue••
Name-calling. Everybody does it, even best friends. It's just a fact of life, just like once you're born, you will eventually die. You can't stop it. Sometimes though, someone who will ridicule another person too far, and they'll take their own death upon them. Up until then, the one who ridiculed didn't realize how bad name calling can actually become to a person.
This bully changed more than just the one who she made fun of. She affected the girl's whole family.
The bully, Amanda, changed a hundred lives, just because she decided to be mean to Liz; a helpless new student that year from Austria that just moved to San Antonio, Texas, to get rid of the bullying back home. Liz's parents gave their all to try and help their daughter, but all that really happened is it made it worse. Texas was her breaking point.
Lukas and Analiese, Liz's parents, later found her journal she wrote in just about everyday about how miserable she thought her life was. They couldn't believe it was possible to comprehend that much sadness as a mere teen-aged girl, but they still read on.
