Napangisi naman siya. "Ito naman! Naging jowa mo lang 'yong kano na 'yon, akala mo naman nanalo ka na sa lotto. Well, I think, yes? Malaki ba?"
Napahalakhak ako sa tawa. "Gago ka, Danny. Bakit mo naman itatanong agad 'yon? Hindi ba pwedeng um-order na ba ako tapos ikaw na sasagot ng drinks ko?"
"Ay, ano ba naman 'to. Ang KJ," anito sabay irap sa akin saka paghalukipkip ng braso. "Okay. Um-order ka na ba?"
"Hmm. . . Let's go back to my question na lang earlier, malaki ba?"
"No! I wouldn't tell you that," sagot ko pa, and I knew he would like me to answer the opposite, but I wouldn't give him that satisfaction because I knew how many people liked my boyfriend. "Just get me a drink, Dan. Lagi na lang ako 'tong nanlilibre sa 'yo. I think it's about time na, 'no?"
He rolled his eyes at me. "'Kay. Ano ba gusto mo? The usual ba?"
I grinned. "Of course, the usual." Tumayo na ito, pero agad na bumalik sa pagkauupo. "Pero malaki nga ba?"
"Danny?!" Ibabato ko sana sa kanya ang bag ko dahil hindi niya talaga pinapakawalan 'yong tanong na 'yon. I knew why he would want to know that. He was just horny.
Humagikgik na lamang itong umalis sa table namin at pumasok sa loob ng shop to get our order. I've been friends with him since my first year and I think it was one of the best things that ever happened to my college life. If we didn't become friends, I wouldn't be more social than I ever was.
Life was unpredictable. I could attest to it, but life is so precious I don't have to deal with all the crap. I had to do what I needed to do.
As I was waiting for Danny to come back and my boyfriend to get me, I was looking around at the al fresco dine-in table of the coffee shop when I found something interesting.
