The night was so cold , Jake doesn't like cold nights, it usually makes him feel like he wants some kind of warmth, it makes him want to hug someone so bad. It reminds him of his loneliness. He used to be alone since his childhood, he got used to loneliness, then he met Jay in his highschool, since then they were inseparable, Jay made his life less lonely and less miserable, Jay is his only friend after all.
" Hey, why do you keep zoning out? " That voice made Jake come back to reality .
" Sorry , did you say something ? " Jake replied with innocence in his eyes.
" Which one is my room ? " , Sunghoon wondered.
" You can choose your own room , I'm going to my room now. My room is on the first floor, feel free to make yourself at home , Goodnight ." With that Jake left to his room.
I guess I'm on my own then , Sunghoon thought to himself and explored the rooms.
Oh wow , holy moly wobbly googly sunghoon exclaimed.
His family house has 7 fucking rooms, pool, huge ass kitchen , cool ass living room ,hell yeah that's great .
Sunghoon looked at every room and decided to choose the room next to Jake's. Why did I choose the room next to Jake? It's not because I want to see him daily after I wake up and before I go to bed , it's because the room next to him is spacious and it's on the first floor and I'm too lazy to climb all the way to the second floor .
Sunghoon knocked on Jake's door.
*Knock knock*
No answer ……
*Knock knock*
No answer …….
*Knock knock*
Still no answer …..
" Okay , I'm coming in '' , Sunghoon twisted the knob and it opened, so he didn't lock the door. I was stupid for continuously knocking smh.
" Hey, why didn't you answer the knock , It's only 8pm and you already slept idk if you ate something or not but I'm ordering something for dinner , it's my treat , do you want anything specific ?? " Sunghoon asked him but no reply.
"Okay , I'll just order for you too, I'll wake you up later after I get the food." Sunghoon was about to leave , when he heard Jake mumbling.
"Please don't leave me …. P- please don't " a tear rolled down from his eyes while he was sleeping.
Is he having nightmares , Sunghoon went near him and tried to wake him up.
" please don't go , please……I beg you " Jake grabbed sunghoon's hand.
" I'm not going anywhere and god Jake you are burning". Sunghoon carefully uncovered Jake's fingers around his hand and he placed the back of his hand on Jake's forehead. Oh gosh he definitely has a fever . Sunghoon went out of Jake's room to get the wet towel.
Sunghoon carefully placed the wet towel on Jake's forehead.
"This will make you feel better but lemme go out and buy some meds , it will help you to get well sooner."
Sunghoon was about to leave but he heard Jake sobbing and mumbling "Don't leave me please, don't leave me alone , I'll be good please don't leave me…. "
Sigh...what's his problem , I genuinely hope he is okay but he doesn't seem to be okay at all.
" Okay , I won't leave you lemme just make some soup for you. "
