Before the story starts, I'd like to thank Akitoya (who will be referred to as Harp), Dani, Azure, Vay, Cherry, Chlowe, Kei, Droplett, Yumu, Max, Shizi, Coe, and Ekolo, for being in my story!

-3rd pov.

He thought it was just a fictional disease.

But that all changed when he saw a small, beautiful pink petal fall from his mouth.

-

It all started with the AkiToya fanfic group. Harp, Vay, Ekolo, and Kopy. The four had an unscheduled routine that they all just knew to follow. They meet at DAYBREAK Sekai. They huddle up at a table, ordering their usual drinks from the Frontline Café. They talk about the stories that Ekolo made. They say goodbye to one of them that has to go. And then one of them would bring up another fanfic to read. That was what always happened. That was the schedule.

That's why when the conversation got to that point, Harp smiled a little and leaned on the table. "So what if I shared a Hanahaki fanfic I found that made me cry?"

Kopy's expression changed ever so slightly, like behind her dusty mauve eyes and round framed glasses she was deciding whether or not she wanted to feel the same agonizing tears that Harp spoke of. In the end, she responded with, "Well, shit, send it over I guess."

So he told her the name of the book, and he watched as she searched it up on her phone. Ekolo watched the two silently, sipping on the straw of their drink. Vay had to leave early that day, so it was just those three and probably Azure and Dani being gay somewhere, waiting for Mafia time to roll around.

"Damn, 40k words?" Kopy scrolled through the words, the story zooming by to the point where it was just a blur of grey. Harp nodded eagerly. "I like long sad fics, plenty of time to cry."

Kopy saved the book on a tab in her phone before clicking it off. "Alright, I'll probably start reading after I leave." Harp gave her a nod in response. "Come meet me back here when you've finished. I wanna see your tea- I mean, I wanna hear you talk about it."
She laughed gently in response and raised her hand in a relaxed wave. "Well, I'll be going then. I've gotta see for myself what all this crying is about. See you later."

He and Ekolo waved back and watched as she played "Untitled" on her phone, watching her disappear as those familiar triangle particles took her back to the real world.

After the purple and brown haired girl had disappeared completely, Ekolo stood from their chair. "I'm gonna go too, Harp. See you around." Harp nodded back in response. "See you."

Then it was just Harp, alone with their thoughts and almost finished, half-cold cup of coffee. He brushed a hand through his hair and cast a glance out the window to the pink and blue sky. It gave a distinct feeling of warmth with a subtle feeling of romance, making it seem like the always setting sun was giving him a soft kiss on his cheeks. He smiled at the thought before pressing "Untitled" as Kopy, Ekolo, and Vay did to return back to the real world.

Harp received a text from Kopy a bit later.
