Alejandro smiled, his eyes filled with joy as he watched his 1 year old daughter, Carla toddling around the living room.
"How is she so damn fast," Tyler whispered, his voice full of wonder. "But seriously, how do we keep up with her? She's like a mini tornado!"
Alejandro chuckled and glanced at Wayne and Raj sitting on the couch. "Maybe we should ask these two for some advice. They seem to be experts in calming down Carla."
Wayne grinned mischievously while Raj rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh yeah dudes, we've got plenty of tricks up our sleeves, eh."
Curiosity piqued, Tyler leaned closer to them. "Alright boys! How do you manage to tame this little ball of energy?"
The boys exchanged knowing glances before Wayne spoke up. "Well Dad, it all started when Rajie and I decided to take Carla on an adventure."
"A what?" Tyler raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah!" Raj chimed in enthusiastically. "We thought if we tired her out enough during the day, she'd sleep like a log at night."
Tyler chuckled skeptically but gestured for them to continue.
"So first," Wayne began dramatically, "we took her to the park."
Raj nodded eagerly. "She was running all over the place! We couldn't keep up with her, shes faster than Rajie is on ice"
"And I'm really fast on ice-" Raj added with a laugh.
"But then," Wayne continued excitedly, "we had a brilliant idea! We took her to the fair!"
Tyler's eyes widened in surprise. "The fair?? You guys are crazy!"
"We know, eh! thats what coach says" Wayne exclaimed proudly. "But it worked like magic! The rides wore her out completely."
"And then she fell asleep in my arms on the way back home," Raj finished triumphantly.
Alejandro couldn't help but chuckle at their ingenuity. "Alright, that's one tale of shenanigans. What else have you got?"
Wayne grinned mischievously once again. "Oh, we've got plenty more, papa."
Raj nodded in agreement. "The second adventure was all about water!"
Tyler raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Water? Please tell me you didn't take her swimming in a shark-infested ocean." He said concerned, remembering his time on total drama.
Both boys burst into laughter before Wayne explained, "No way! We took her to the local splash pad."
"And let me tell you," Raj chimed in excitedly, "she went absolutely wild! Running through the water jets and splashing everyone around her!"
"But then," Wayne continued with a smirk, "we decided to introduce her to the ultimate water adventure – a slip 'n slide!"
Tyler couldn't help but laugh at the mental image of Carla zooming down a slippery slide. "You guys are definitely creative!"
"Yeah, eh!" Raj exclaimed proudly. "She had so much fun sliding around that she forgot all about walking everywhere!"
Tyler shook his head in amusement. "Alright, what's the third tale of shenanigans?"
Wayne exchanged another glance with Raj before revealing their final adventure plan.
"So we thought," Wayne began slowly, emphasizing each word for dramatic effect, "what if we took Carla on a treasure hunt?"
"A treasure hunt?" Alejandro repeated incredulously.
Raj nodded eagerly. "Exactly! We hid small toys and treats all over the house and gave her clues to find them."
"Let me guess," Tyler interrupted with a chuckle. "She went crazy searching for those treasures."
"You bet!" Wayne exclaimed enthusiastically. "She crawled under tables, climbed onto chairs; nothing could stop her from finding those hidden treats."
"But here's the best part," Raj added with a mischievous grin. "We made sure one of us would always be waiting at the final treasure spot with a big hug."
Tyler couldn't help but smile at their ingenious plan. "That's absolutely adorable, boys."
As Carla wobbled over to them, giggling and clapping her hands, Tyler scooped her up into his arms. "You guys did an amazing job. Thank you for keeping our little tornado entertained."
Wayne and Raj exchanged proud smiles before Wayne spoke up. "We had a blast, Dad. Also- You should sign her up for hockey, she'd be a beast on the ice- eh!"
