Evan walked slowly through the house, smiling faintly at all the pictures decorating the walls. He and his boys had been together now almost 5 years, 5 amazing years, and he had never felt so happy.

He wanted the next step. They'd been living together for nearly 4 years now, they had Kino and Archie, they'd never been closer. Everything they'd been through over the years, with pasts confronting them, settling comfortably with the ddlb life, little arguments internally, they'd all come out on top.

Evan was looking for Tyler at the moment, knowing he was home but hadn't seen him in over an hour. Brock was at work, having decided to get a normal 9-5 after stepping away from YouTube. The changes in his partner had been immense, Brock no longer so tense and stressed, he was happier, more relaxed.

Brian and Jon were recording with Luke, Marcel and Scotty. Tyler was due to record with Anthony later, but that wasn't for a few hours, so where was he?

Evan peeked inside Tyler's recording room, not seeing him. He headed outside, noticing Tyler's side by side was missing. He could hear the engine in the distance so he grabbed one of the dirt bikes and followed the sound.

He found him doing donuts in a clearing, a grin on his face. Tyler stopped once he caught sight of Evan, face brightening as he waved him over.

"Hey Ev. What brings you out here?" He greeted him, leaning over to press a kiss to Evan's mouth once Evan had taken off his helmet.

"I uh, I had a question," Evan asked, nerves erupting now that he was here. Tyler tilted his head curiously, killing the engine of the side by side and giving Evan his full attention.

"I- you, me, Brian, Brock and Jon. We've been together 5 years now. And they've been the best 5 years of my life. I- I want to marry you guys," he said, rushing at the end in his nerves.

Tyler blinked as he tried to process what Evan had said, the words registering a moment later. "You-" he gasped and Evan looked down, chewing on his lip.

"I want to marry you guys. All four of you. You're my family, the most important people in my life. I want that next step," he said, quietly yet confidently. His words were nothing but the truth after all.

Because he wasn't looking, he didn't see when Tyler grabbed him, yanking him close to press a bruising kiss against his mouth. "Holy fuck, I want to marry you guys too. More than anything," he whispered against Evan's lips and elation filled him.

"I was wanting to know if you wanted to help me ask our boys in a big way," he asked and Tyler kissed him again, nodding quickly.

"Of course I do," he said excitedly and Evan laughed, pulling him into another kiss. "We're going to get married," Tyler murmured and Evan nodded, heart warm.

"Actually, while we're here," Evan said, pulling away from Tyler. The taller tilted his head curiously as Evan dug in his jacket pocket, pulling out a box.

"I found your ring first, I still haven't found the other threes yet. But Tyler, will you marry me? And our boys?" Evan asked and Tyler chuckled, holding his hand out.

Evan slid the ring he'd chosen next to the ring Brian had given him so long ago. Evan had chosen a ring that would match it, kinda blend into it.

Tyler smiled faintly at him and pulled him into a kiss, lingering a moment. "I love you, and I can't wait to ask our boys to marry us," he said and Evan beamed at him.

"Let's go ring hunting now, you and I. We can tell the others it'll be an us day, and Brock won't be home for another 4 hours," Tyler said and Evan nodded eagerly, moving to put his helmet back onto his head and grab the bike.
