𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧- 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 [𝐓𝐎]

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝟏𝟓

Klaus goes to Akane's room, he sees that she is still in a slumber, and her eyes are closed but they are still bleeding, staining the white pillow red with each drop of blood the stain was increasing, and her face had become sickly pale, void of any color.

He took a small towel and wiped her eyes once, twice, and then he gave up after the third time, he bit his wrist pulled her chin, and fed her a few drops of his blood, a little color returned to her face, but it was not enough, and her eyes didn't stop bleeding.

Taeyang was the one who took Akane from his arms the moment he stepped into the compound, he was trying to find a way to wake her up. 

Watching the girl, who had done so much just to keep his daughter safe, laying in such a state made him feel guilty, angry, and devastated all at the same time. Her hair which always had a shine in it looked dull and dead, the bright red color looked faded.

Klaus brushed a stray hair out of her face, and caressed her cheeks. Taeyang watches the whole thing from the entrance, the look on the original hybrid's face was something very familiar; fear of losing the girl was evident on his face. 

"I might have found the way-" Klaus looks at him, he withdraws his hand from Akane's face, "Akane is lost in her memories, a myriad of illusions of things that don't exist in reality"

"Stop talking in riddles and say it," Klaus says frustrated

"The nightmares have long faded; she is now, trapped in a daydream, more like she refusing to come out of it," reveals Taeyang

"Is there any way bring her out it?" questions Klaus

"Akane is a blood siphoner, normal magic doesn't work on her unlike others; Dahlia didn't up her on a spell, she exploited her weakness- you need to dive into her mind and pull her out of it"  explains Taeyang

"Shouldn't you do this?" he narrows his eyes at Taeyang. 

"Because I can't-" he takes a deep breath, "because- there are high chances that- I might not even want to get out of it. It is like a fantasy, something that will never be possible for any of us to live in reality"

Klaus nods in understanding, "Cast the spells, I will bring her back"

"I will make the necessary preparations for the spell,"  says Taeyang and leaves the room

In Akane's Mind

"I know none of it is real," Akane says with tears in her eyes, "I know you are just a figment of my imagination an elaborate illusion"

She is sitting in front of a small cafe, which she used to visit frequently with her mother, and her mother is sitting right in front of her, "Am I sweetheart?" the illusion of the woman asks

"Yes, you are!" She stands up from her seat and flips the table and the scene changes, this time she standing in front of a small lake, surrounded by flowers. The illusion of the woman standing beside her when she asks again, "Then why don't you wake up?"

"I miss you, Mom" She tries to touch her but the woman vanishes, but then again appears beside her, whispering in her ear, "Then stay with me"

"I am sorry, but I can't, you are gone" A shiny silver dagger appears in her hand, she hugs that woman and stabs her in the back, Akane whispers in her ear, "Goodbye Mom"

Akane wakes up with a gasp, she sees Klaus sitting by her bed and Taeyang making some preparations for some kind of spell.

"You are awake!" Taeyang says in relief

"That I am Tae" she replies with a small smile

"That was dramatic, love," says Klaus with relief evident on his face

"Says the drama queen himself" Akane chuckled, but it turned into a cough

Klaus quickly sprung into action, he took the glass of water by the bedside table and helped her drink it, all while rubbing her back soothingly. After she finished drinking the water, Klaus helped her sit more comfortably, he placed a pillow behind her back so that lean on the headboard more comfortably.

Whereas Taeyang was observing both of them, and they looked domestic around each other, it was adorable to see a 1000+ old hybrid taking care of a 23-year-old. Though he opted to not comment on it.

"That bitch is so dead, I am gonna kill her!" Akane said in a furious tone

"Easy, little one," Taeyang said to her while patting her back, "how did she do it?"

"I am immune to normal witchy woo not to curses" Akane explains

"Shit" mumbles Taeyang

"Now both of you get out of my room, I need sleep" she narrows her eyes towards Klaus, "And you will brief me on every reckless thing you have done while I was asleep"

"Absolutely love" Klaus replied with a small smile.

"Now get out, I need sleep- real sleep" Akane states and lies down again.
