"One! Two! Three! Pinned!" With my eyes closed and me groaning on the hard floor, I didn't even bother getting up.
All of the sudden, I woke up, I was sweating and found myself clutching the fluffy bear my girlfriend gave to me. I was on the couch—as usual.
Dream walking into my dreams was not uncommon for them, nor was the pain that would come oh so randomly from their so called consequences that left my nerves the opposite of numb.
Yes, I do mind talking about it. "Get yourself together, Nadia," I said to myself and turned on the lamp next to me and blinked.
Not even three minutes into waking up and I already have two songs stuck in my head. That dream... he was in it, maybe he was the—no, he wasn't the leader. He couldn't be.
Next to me was my phone, and my face fell, I looked around, I had left my supposed to be locked notes open while I was sleeping. I don't think she noticed it.
"C'mon..." I sat up and then fell right onto the floor. My girlfriend came out from the thud to see me on the floor looking lethargic.
"Are you okay?" She said, her voice the same one I knew for years. She bent beside me and checked my forehead, tucking my hair back behind my ear. Half of which covered my shoulders.
I groaned in response. I don't know what came over me, but, all I could do was grab her hand, "Do you need the hospital?" she asked softly.
I shook my head and mumbled a, "No."
