Flashback starting -

"Miyah, getcho ass in here." her mom yelled out.
"Shit." She thought as she got up and out of bed.
'Why the fuck do i see dust in the air like confetti was popped in this bitch" Her mom snapped as Amiyah walked in.

''I-im sorry ma'am, it won't happen again." She stuttered, knowing the things her mom was capable of. "Bitch, it better not."  Her mom said throwing a bottle of tequila at her head.

!CLASH!

The bottle hit Amiyah right on her forehead making her fall to the floor with a cut on her head; it was big but not big enough for her to bleed out. It wasn't the first time she had fainted. It would definitely wouldn't be the last.

6 hours later

"Then she had the nerve to sleep on my floor like?? Bitch get up."  She raised her head up as she barely heard her mom talk and laugh on the phone with her friend. Her mom saw her raise her head up and hung up the phone "Hold on lemme call you back girl."

"Getcho ass up and clean yourself up, yo daddy on his way."  She said to her

Amiyah soon got up and walked to the bathroom as she took out the first aid kit and cleaned her cut. After she finished she went back to the living room and cleaned it up.

After she showered and got dressed. Her dad walked into her room slowly limping and was barely able to walk. As usual he was drunk and this only meant one thing. Bedtime.

She screamed and yelled. She fought and bit. Only to get hurt again.

"Daddy No! Stop! Please Daddy!!"

Flashback over-

Amiyah
The Clinic / 6:55 pm

Amiyah abruptly woke up, gasping from her nightmare. She looked to the side to see her friend coming in.

"Another one?" Her friend Alyssa asked handing her a cup of coffee.

"Um yeah." she said looking into her phone to check the time

"Girl you need therapy or something cause this is not healthy"Alyssa said concerned as she sat on the chair next to her.

"Im fine i promise"Amiyah said sipping her coffee

"Well you might want to drink up ,you have a patient"Alyssa said turning towards the computer

"Right"she said sighing, as she gulped down the rest of the coffee throwing the cup away

"Bye babes , heres your badge"Alyssa said blowing her kiss and giving her the badge

Amiyah did the same taking her badge and walking into the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face so it wasn't obvious she was sleeping and left the room ,turning off the light on her way out.

"Hello Ms.Willliams , are we having a good day"a coworker asked

"Yeah just a little tired but thats all"Amiyah said fake smiling "Wasn't this bitch talking shit about me yesterday during our lunch break to her little friends"

"Ok well heres your patient"the coworker said giving her the clipboard

"Thanks "she said smiling soon rolling her eyes as she walked away

"Um patient #23 Mr.Wick"Amiyah said seeing a lightskin guy in all black approach her
He backed up keeping distance as he waited for Amiyah to finish what she was going to say.

"Come with me"she said smiling as she opened the door holding it for him. He nodded his head grabbing the door following her into a room.

"Ok im gonna need you to sit here so i can do a quick checkup"Amiyah said looking up at him.

He briefly brushed past her and sat down. Amiyah walked up to the table grabbing the thermometer.

"98.6 F ok looking good "Amiyah mumbled to her self continuing the checkup
15 minutes later....

"Ok sir it says here you weren't feeling well but everything seems to look good "She said writing something down on her clipboard.

"Does this look okay?"He said in a low deep voice giving Amiyah the chills as she looked up seeing him lift up his shirt showing a big cut that looked as if he was sliced on his side.

"Oh.My.God"She said under her breath shocked as she walked towards him. She bent down alittle taking a closer look.

"Why aren't you at hospital? This isn't a clinical problem this is a hospital one"Amiyah said backing up

"Well i suggest you figure it out"He said pulling out his gun laying it next to him.

"B-but-" She stuttered getting cut off.

"Listen i got things to do today, i don't got all day "He said nonchalantly. She paced around thinking before making up her mind.

"I'll be back"She said leaving

10 minutes later.......

"Ok i'm back , i had to get some supplies" She said as he nodded. It was complete silence as she prepared to get everything ready.

"Um i need you to take your shirt off"Amiyah said lowly. He took off his upper bodies clothes and laid back.
20 minutes....
Nardo put his shirt on leaving the room a couple minutes after.Amiyah cleaned everything up , throwing them all in the trash before leaving the room. As she left she made eye contact with Nardo as he walked out the clinic. Amiyah cleared her throat letting the clerk know she was there as she slid Nardo's appointment infomoration to her.She went to the back , gathering her stuff before heading out.

Amiyah's Home / 8:45 pm

As soon as Amiyah got home she went to the bathroom letting the water flow before gently dangling her fingers above the surface to check its temperature.
"Perfect' she whispered below her breath before she began to undress herself.She slowly slid into her tub instantly relaxing and letting out a soothing sigh.

She later got out the bath , putting on a tank top and shorts before going into her kitchen.
"What should i eat?" she said to herself as she grabbed a bottle of water. She opened the bottle, taking a sip while opening up her cabinets and fridge, looking for something to eat.
"Looks like were ordering takeout" she said grabbing her phone and going to DoorDash.
She ordered her a vanilla frosty from Wendys and with a mango pineapple lemonade. She then ordered Chick Fil-A getting her a meal before laying back on her couch turning on Being Mary Jane. A couple minutes later her food came and she went to bed after watching a couple episodes.
