The Awakening Of The Phoenix

Introduction

  In a galaxy far far away, there was a planet of witches. On this planet lived many kinds of witches with different abilities. They were separated into different covens. These covens were water, fire, earth, ice, light, and dark. 
Water Witches – Able to manipulate water in any of its forms.
Fire Witches – Able to control any type of heat and able to create fire at free will.
Earth Witches – Able to control anything earth-related (rocks, plants, and air).
Ice Witches – Able to create ice at free will and able to freeze any liquid or gas that contains water.
Light Witches – Able to see and manipulate all forms of light energy on the electromagnetic spectrum.
Dark Witches – Able to summon shadows at free will and make them do as they wish.
  All the witches lived in peace on their tiny planet. Hardly anyone from the other planets would visit them as they were scared of their magical abilities and what they would do if they happened to stumble upon a witch. Even though most of the witches here were harmless they did have reason to be afraid of them. For there was a prophecy that read if they were to harm the witches in any way a great protector would come and take from them what was taken from the witches. The great protector was said to be a being of unfathomable magic. She could rewrite reality as she chooses and was prophesized to either rule or destroy the entire universe. No one had ever seen the great protector not even the witches themselves. Although there was a legend that she had gone once to the neighboring planet to make an agreement with Stefan, the king, that if he protected the witches, she would give him whatever he wanted in return. 
  That was merely 100 years ago, and Philip, the new king, only thought about conquering and claiming new planets to expand his kingdom. So, one day Philip decided to send one of his best men to the planet to see if the witches were as terrifying as they had imagined. This knight was named Felix. He had eyes the color of milk chocolate, hair as bright as the sun, freckles in the shape of hearts, and a smile that could light up the world, but he was also one of the king's most highly trained and decorated knights. The king ordered him to go to the village and warn the witches that he would soon come to claim their planet as his own and eliminate anyone who stood in his way.
  On that same night on which the king gave him orders, he was off to the witch’s planet and arrived by what was morning. Once he had landed, he had noticed how beautiful the planet was and how it was so peaceful compared to his home world where all he did was prepare for battle and teach new recruits how to fight. Once he finished taking in the view he started to walk around to see if he could find the village where the witches resided. After about what had felt like an entire day, he saw a village in the distance and walked towards it.
  When he arrived all the witches looked at him shocked as if they had never seen a man before much less a knight. He began to explain to them that the king had sent him to warn them of what he was planning. After hearing the news, the witches became furious but before they could attack Felix, he explained that even though he was giving orders by his king he did not agree with him and his ways. He then told them he wanted to help them fight back. At first, they were concerned as to why a person who worked for the king would want to help them, but they would soon find out why. As Felix spent time with the witches he learned more about their culture and that they couldn’t use their magic without the presence of a very powerful gem known as the crystal of chaos. This crystal was what would allow them to use their magic and the closer they were to it the more powerful they would grow. After hearing of this magical crystal Felix became curious and asked one of the witches to take him. No one wanted to take him to it as they did not have full trust in him yet and didn’t know what would happen if they took him to it. Eventually, a witch named Phoenix which had brown eyes and wavy long brown hair went up to Felix and told him she would lead him to the crystal but that it would be a very long journey.
