You'd think that after being experience with one, you'd be capable of taking care of another.

Wrong.

It was remotely worse. Since Basile Cafe was shut down, she had to work part time in Macy's. Since she's had another child, her son and daughter has to share a room. Since she still doesn't have a car, Alice is her choferre. Since she has another child, she's been a full on mom.

And mostly since Stiles left, Derek took in majority of the father role for Ariella and Hunter.

That New Year's hit Juliet hard. She doesn't wear the necklace but she keeps it. She has his number but doesn't call. She has his flannels but never threw them out.

It hurts but it's comforting to keep the memory. Because it reminds her of that one mistake of ever having fate in Stiles Stilinski.
