Sachin Dev Duggal's Builder.ai, a software platform powered by artificial intelligence, announced that it has raised $250 million in its Series D funding round, led by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). With this investment, the company's total funding has surpassed $450 million.
The new capital will be used to further advance Builder.ai's leadership in the industry, invest in talent, partnerships, and technology, and focus more on using human conversation as the primary user interface for building software.
The Series D round also saw participation from Iconiq Capital, Jungle Ventures, and Insight Partners, existing and new investors alike. According to Sachin Dev Duggal, the founder and chief wizard of Builder.ai, we are entering a transformative era in which the nature of software is changing, from a product with a long shelf life to one that will eventually have a shelf life as short as a conversation, with an exponential increase in its volume being created.
