Lifetime friends Alex and Kris were on Alex's roof discussing celebrity crushes.
"Ryan Reynolds." Alex smiled.
"Emma Watson." Kris nodded. "Did you hear she is going to be in Beauty and the Beast live action?"
"Not until now." Alex chuckled. "Do you want to go in? It's getting cold."
"Not yet, I mean look at that sunset." Kris looked out into the sky watching the sun fall down until you couldn't see it anymore. Alex turned to Kris and smiled. "You know, we could also be watching the reruns of FRIENDS, right?" She looked at her quite disgusted.
"Are you kidding me?! Look at that. It's beautiful, like you." Both of their faces were red as a fire truck. Alex smiled as the next half hour was silence as the sun slowly moved across the sky. "I better be going soon, mom doesn't want me too late for dinner." Kris acknowledged.
"Alright lets go inside if you need to go." Alex giggled. They both stood up and went inside through the window behind them."Stop losing my number and text me for once." Alex said writing it down on a sticky note. "Here keep this one safe." She smiled. Kris nodded and proceeded downstairs.
"Alex why don't you walk her home? She doesn't live far and dinner isn't ready yet." Her mother suggested.
"Ugh, sure mom. Let's go." She said blushing pushing Kris out the front door. "Do you want to make a quick stop at the park first?"
"Why would we do that?" Kris smirked. "What would we do this late?"
"You're right. Plus you need to get home for dinner. I just wanted to hang out a little longer." Alex frowned while Kris blushed.
"Well we can hang out at your house again tomorrow, right?" Kris suggested
"Sure wanna walk home after school?"
"Okay, yeah! That'll be exhausting." They both laughed.
"Alright this is you so... I'll see you tomorrow." They started walking in separate directions and turned to wave.
Alex walked back home and went back into the house. "Hey, I'm back! Is dinner ready?" Alex asked her mother.
"Yep! Grab a plate and grab some spaghetti."
"Great! I wanted spaghetti."
"That is why I made it." Her mother smiled and started eating as Alex scrambled for a plate.
