In the Mesmerizing boarding school 'Blossom High'. 'Delaney' an active and ambitious all rounder with her first foot forward in sports meets the principal son 'Vivan' who exist for the sake of living, a shy, introverted kid who holds deep secrets...
Delaney (yelling): DAKA........... It's already 7:30, WAKE UP or else we'll be late for school.
I was trying my best to pull the blanket but she kept on holding on to it as if her whole life depend on it. I slept on my alarm today thinking that it was still dawn but it just happen to be a gloomy weather. So I woke up at 7:00, got in the shower, arrange my books and put on my uniform and don't be amaze I could finish alot of tasks in a limited frame of time except trying to wake Daka up. I'm going to remove waking up Daka from my to do list.
Delaney: You are a bear stuck in a human body. What will you do by hibernating all day?
Daka(still sleepy): First of all get your facts right, bears don't hibernate during summer and second,I'm on my periods so I'll be taking a dick leave today.
Delaney(pulling the blanket): That don't exist in India and your period ended last week right.
Daka pull up the blanket from her face and sat on her bed suddenly
Daka: Do you govern the laws of Nature? No right, so let me enjoy the perks that God has given me as a woman.
I rolled my eyes at her and pick up my bag and make my way to the door.
Daka(shouting from behind): Cover for me in the 1dt period I'll jump from the window on the 2nd period.
Delaney (casually): I won't.
I look at my watch as I went outside and damn it, it was already 7:40 I have to make it for the assembly, even the sky was cloudy and dull.
Delaney ( mumbling): It seems like it will rain any minute now.
As I was saying these words to myself, I felt few rain drops falling on my face and in the split second heavy rain came pouring down.oh shit i wasn't manifesting this and I even forgot my umbrella in a hurry. I know I will be totally soaked in this rain but I need to be at school on time and going back to get my umbrella was not an option, so I ran as swiftly as I can.

Part II
I was approaching my classroom to keep my bag, the North Block was on duty today for the morning assembly. My uniform was soaked in water due to the rain and I didn't comb my hair as I just got to the shower and didn't get the time to tie it. I hope no teacher would take notice of my hair, my mind was occupied with all these thoughts while I was walking fast towards the door with a speed that physics velocity questions walk with until I collide with someone and gravity asserted it dominance on us. We both fell and our books and bag came bumping down too. It took me a split second to notice the books,bottle and a rubix cube on the ground, I picked each one of them while the person also gave me a helping hand and as I stood up and elevated my view to see who it was.
Vivan(mumbling): I'm sorry I was in a hurry.
Delaney( while handling the books): It's ok...... It's the same story in my end
As I gave him the rubix cube I realised that a part from the corner was missing.

I kneel down and search for it till I found it near the door and attached it and hand it over to him.
We rushed to the class and kept our belongings.We went out together again coincidentally. As we were approaching the podium to join our other fellow batchmates and suddenly I got a sensation around me as if someone was looking at me. I look up and turn my head to my left and my eye net Vivan's who staring at me with abit of concern I guess.
Vivan(murmuring): Forgot your umbrella?
Delaney (stumbling): Uh.....uhhhh yeah....I ,I was late....sooooo
It took me by surprise as he never spoke to anyone before except a little bit with Jaison,as he happens to be his benchmate. There was drop dead silence around us for a while,till I decide to break the ice as it was getting a bit awkward.
Delaney: So, you choose the North Block?
Vivan: No, the authority just assign me this block, I know nothing about this school system.
Delaney(smiling): You'll know about it soon.
Vivan smile back at me as sign of approval. He open a sheet of paper that he tucked in his hands for a while. It looks like a note about the news headlines. His hands were trembling while holding the paper, but I can't really make out why, if it was due to the chilling wind blowing or is he just going through performance anxiety.
Delaney: Are you feeling cold
Vivan: No
Delaney: Hmm, is it stage fright.
Vivan: Actually I don't like being on stage, I rarely participate in anything
Delaney: Ok!so that explain alot of this now.
He nodded nervously at me, while I was looking at him I came up with something in my mind. I went near him to make sure that he hears me clearly.
Delaney: Back then when I was new to all these participation and all. Even I get some serious stage fright. Vivan looked at me patiently while I narrated my story) and I learn this trick to calm your nerves down to help you perform well. You just have to repeat "Nga wa beij" three times.Trust me it works.
I demonstrated it for a while for him.
Vivan(while looking sceptically at me): You got to be kidding me I don't think it will work
Delaney (trying to sound as convincing as possible): How dare you say that it is an ancient practice here, you are disrespecting our culture by saying that.
Vivan stood there speechless, because he thought he had really offended me. I kept on looking at his face for a while till I left him there without clarifying as I rushed to the podium when I see Shreya approaching towards it too.
