Many years have passed, and the world remained calm. Children of the light flew through the realms, and found spirits sharing their memories of the past. Most of the Sky-Children yearned to explore the world, discovering history and finding secret places and interesting stories.
But some had less motivation than others. The world was vast, and not all children were full of energy and sailing across the air, with wings that could endure the harshest of winds.
Rana was certainly no exception to this. She almost never left the ground, aspiring to be a great adventurer but never actually flying long distances. Despite this, her life was quite peaceful and exciting; she did alot of exploration on her own that didn't involve long journeys, even if leaving some puzzled at what she could achieve.
Above all, Rana wanted to explore every part of the world. She always swore to fly through the realms, and overcome being a "lazy, demotivated, uninspired" person. She could run, and was already quite good at moving around, searching for spirits and lost memories like the other Sky-Children in the process.
Rana lived a simple life, albeit getting into trouble or needing to escape some threatening situations. It was calm, but she found excitement, and lots of interesting spirits and people.
She wasn't the most popular among most who met her, however. Being a Sky-Child that refused to put maximum effort into the adventures she went on had led to some regrettable expiriences. She often thought to herself about her tendency to slack when adventuring with others. "I'll definetely be an explorer one day!" "I'll find every realm, climb Eden and prove it to everyone!"
She was laughed at alot for this, but knew that their opinion would change when she became an expert.

This went on for a long time, until something truly terrible happened.
More Sky-Children traveled to Eden, and climbed the Eye, returning to celebrate the great victory. Dark Dragons patrolled around the mountains, and attacked those who couldn't make it up the treacherous climb. Everyone was used to it, but then Eden began to spill out into the other realms. It fell into the world, spreading darkness around that was nearly impossible to put out. Some of  the Sky Children thought they could face it, trying to put it out with their lights. The darkness kept coming, enveloping most of the world with its horrible influence.
And then Sky-Children reached out to the spirits, looking for help in the days long gone. They tried to help, with preserved memories and voices almost lost to time, reassuring them it would pass. But then the corruption spread further, and the elders began to awaken. But they had slept for a long time, unaware of what this situation was causing. They stood their ground, searching for a solution, and hoping that the Sky-Children could find their own way through the dangers.

Rana's once serene, regular life had gone upside down the moment disaster struck. She was just trying to live with what she had, being called lazy and exploring some places. She liked art, and often made paper swans with messages to pass the time. But now, she has a calling, something to help her reach her goal. To become an adventurer once and for all! And maybe, when worst comes to worst, she'll reach the end of Eden..
