Monday morning blues. I wake up yawning and scratching my head. Countless thoughts rush in my head as I recall last night's events.
Can't exactly call it steamy, cause' it obviously wasn't, but still. My eyes are still bloodshot. From what, you ask?
Let me explain.
So, on Sunday, after I sent Adam home in the morning, I couldn't stop thinking about him. Like, he was all I could think of.
You know? When you're in love??
Anyway, couldn't concentrate on my work, felt like a stupid little giggly teenager swooning over her first love, and lost in thoughts. I'm being extra huh?
Well, what can I do? I've never fallen in love before. Like, real love..
I was already late for work, and it was a Sunday too, but I also had to finish some tasks which were due, so I put on my normal work clothes, which looked pretty cool if you think about it, and locked the door behind me, and spun the keys in a cool way, pocketing it.
I loved walking to work. It was one thing that kept me in shape and also made me feel good about myself, walking and traversing along with the nature.
It wasn't a long walk, just a 15 minute walk, 10, if I hurried a bit. But I usually liked to take my time to absorb the surroundings around me.
The studio was uphill though. By the time I climbed the steep road to reach the studio, I'd be covered in sweat and heaving and hoing and panting and huffing. The thing is, I don't have strong lungs so I easily get breathless.
So, I went into the studio, wiping some sweat off my forehead and smiled at Juan.
"Sorry, I'm a little late. Didn't get up early, so..." I patted his back, as he nodded understandingly.
"It happens. And anyway, we're mostly done with the Greens' album. When do they want it again?" He asked.
"On the 25th. Oh shit, it's 2 days before the Billionaire's wedding! Better deliver it quickly, otherwise we'll have double the pressure. Thanks Juan,"
I said, and rushed to the coffee machine. Only it wouldn't work properly.
"Oh for God's sake, can't one thing work properly in this studio?" I asked, banging the table in frustration.
I guessed I'd have to go non-caffeine for a day. Which was impossible. Cause' I'm addicted.
"Oooh, Let's see how long you're able to run without coffee. It's going to be fun to watch.
I remember the last time we ran out of coffee, you almost fired Anya.
It was when she bought you a cup of coffee, and let me tell you, cause' I was there with her, by running to the nearest Starbucks Store, that you forgave her.
You're a dangerous one, you are, Y/n."
