1-Coincedence or... Fate??

IU'S POV

I opened the door to my moms' room.

I tiptoed towards the desk next to the bed and put down the letter.

Next, I crept into my older brother and my younger sister's room and I gave Sohyun a peck on the forehead.

I walk down the hallways while the teacher in front of me guided me.

I stopped outside of a noisy classroom.

He told me to wait outside the classroom until he tells me to come in.

"Be quiet all of you!" Mr. Choi said as he slammed his book on the small podium.

"You guys have a new classmate" he told everyone.

"Come in" he said.

I walked in and stopped near the podium.

Mr.Choi looked at me then said, "Please introduce yourself."

"Uh.. my name is.. Lee Mingyu. I'm twenty years old" I said.

"Ok if that's all you want to say, please take your seat at the back" he told me.

I walked towards the empty seat at the very back.

"Cockroach!!"

I looked down at the floor.

"AAAAHHHH!!" I screamed as I jumped on my chair.

I really hate cockroaches.

"You're so loud" the guy that's sitting next to me said.

I turned to my left to look at him.

He's reading with his headphones hanging on his neck.

I looked at his face.. and my mouth fell open.

SEHUN!

So my seat mate is Sehun?!?! The guy that made me want to go to this school, my crush that I've been liking and stalking ever since first grade, is sitting right next to me?!

"Uh... I'm so..rry fo..for-" I stuttered..

He closed his book then looked at me.

"Shut up..." he said staring at me.

"Okay. Uh.. I"

Then he glared at me again so I stopped talking.

"He's just in a bad mood" the guy in front of me said.

I turned to my right.

It's one of his friends, Baekhyun. I know all of Sehun's friend.

"By the way, my name is Baekhyun" he said as he extended his hand.

"I kn-" I was gonna tell him I know him but then I realized how he would react if I told him I know him, he would ask how I know him but good thing I didn't finish saying what I was about to say because of the teacher.

"Byun Baek Hyun and Lee Min Gyu stop talking" Mr. Choi said.

Baekhyun quickly turned his back on me.

Baekhyun turned around again to look at me then, he smiled.

I took a tray and put whatever food that looked good.

Then I stopped walking and turned my head here and there.

I don't know where to sit.

"Yeogi! Mingyu! Here!" a familiar voice called.

I looked around to see who was calling me.

Then I saw someone waving his one hand.

"Here!" Baekhyun said smiling.

I walked towards him, smiling.

As I got closer I saw who was with him.

This must be the best day of my life.

I sat down in front of my three classmates.

"Hi" Baekhyun said and smiled.

"Annyeong" the guy next to him, Huang ZiTao, said.

"Hello" I said and smiled.

Then I glanced at Sehun, who didn't even said hi or looked at me as if I wasn't there. Or probably he didn't hear me because of his headphones in his ears. Everytime I see him, he always have his headphones on except when it's class time. He must really love music.

"As I said, my name is Baekhyun" Baekhyun said.

I didn't say that I know him because they might ask how I know them.

"And I'm Tao" Tao said.

"I'm Mingyu, nice to meet you guys" I said then we shook hands.

Sehun got up from his seat and took his tray using both of his hands.

"Ya, where are you going?" Baekhyun said staring at him.

"I'm done eating" he said and walked away.

I watched Sehun walking away until I couldn't see him anymore.

"Ya! Mingyu" Baekhyun said as he tapped on the table.

"Huh?" I asked as I turned my attention to Baekhyun instead of at Sehun.

"I kept talking but you weren't listening" he said.

"Oh.. er sorry" I said.

"Don't mind Sehun. He's just in a bad mood this past few days" Tao said.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"His younger brother died" Tao said.

"What?!?!" I screamed, loud enough for others to hear.

I coughed then said, "I mean...what? How?"

"Yesterday, his parents and Wonwoo were on the way to the park but then they got in a car accident. His parents were just wounded but Wonwoo.... passed away. And Sehun must be very sad because his younger brother is the only one that he treats as his family. Their parents never have time for them, they're always busy with work. They go to work very early in the morning and comes home very late. And Sehun's always the one who comes to Wonwoo's school every time Wonwoo's school has family events" Baekhyun said.

"We tried talking to him to comfort him but he won't talk to us" Tao said.

"He must be very sad. I want to comfort him" I whispered under my breath.

"What was that?" Tao asked.

"Huh? Uh.. ah I said I'm done eating so I'll be going to the classroom now" I said.

"Finally I can have time to rest" I said as I stopped in front of the door to my dorm.

"I wonder who will be my roommates" I asked opening my backpack to find the keys.

Just then someone opened the door before I even found my keys.

Oh my! Is this all coincidence or is this fate?
