"Ji-ah. Joon. I need your presence here in 2 seconds." Y/n voice was dangerously calm.

The two figures who were hiding behind the sofa came out and slowly walked towards her. "Eomma.", Ji-ah spoke in a small voice. 

"Explain. What is this?", Y/n asked placing her phone on her desk. They looked down at the phone and saw the news of the fucker getting arrested. The fucker, who is the CEO of the competitive company. 

"He threatened you, eomma. He deserves even worse than just going to jail." Joon spoke bluntly.

"By risking your life? Babies, I told you both a thousand times, dont involve yourself in these stuff.", Y/n sighed. This is the third time they did something nonsensical. 

"It's not that hard, eomma. We just gathered his dirty work and submitted it to Jinnie's friend, Joon uncle.", Ji-ah explained as if the risk was nothing.

"Do you both realize what would have happened if it went the other way around? If you get caught while digging his dirty work? That bastard won't even spare your life." Y/n raised her voice a bit. Of course, who would want their kids to catch a bastard by keeping their life in danger? But these kids never understand.

"He can't lay a finger on us. And I can die and kill to protect you eomma." Ji-ah said as her eyes darkened. They both are pure souls until you provoke them. They dont harm a being until it is related to justice. They would have killed that bastard if it was not for Y/n teaching them to be non-violent. 

Y/n closed her eyes in frustration. "Babies...I can protect myself. Just a few unwanted warnings won't affect me. I have been running this business for 14 years and I know how to deal with it. You dont have to take care of it. Understood?" 

Yes, It's been 14 years since she started the company and 16 years since she started a new life. In these 16 years, she finished her MBA. And started a fashion company that is currently at top. After 3 years she started an entertainment company and later many others, becoming a successful multi-business woman. 

"We know that, eomma. You are the strongest person we ever known. But you're also the only person we want to protect. So, of course, we will do anything in our limits to protect you." Joon spoke.

These kids.

"You guys are only 16. Behave like one, will you? You dont have to worry about me or take care of me. Focus on your career first. Okay? And-"

Y/n's voice turned serious, "This will be my last time warning you. If you both do such a thing again. I will not allow you guys to enter the company and both of you will be going to boarding school."

Y/n's warning made them both pout. And Y/n chulcked seeing her sulking babies. 

"So... Who wants to bake cupcakes with me?" Y/n asked with a smile, already knowing the answer. As expected, at the mention of cupcakes, the kids' eyes lit up and they flooded her with enthusiastic cries of "me, me" before eagerly hugging their mom.

Baking cupcakes together was a cherished tradition for Y/n and her children, a favorite monthly date that brought them closer each time. They would start by going grocery shopping together, picking out ingredients, and sharing little secrets along the way.

Once back home, they would knead the dough, getting covered in flour and sharing laughter while cracking silly jokes and recounting the events of their day. The anticipation of waiting for the cupcakes to bake was filled with joyful moments of playfulness and bonding.

2 years passed by. They are finally in Korea to meet their father and uncles. Ji-ah and Joon were sitting in the backyard of their house while teasing and irritating each other.
