Chapter: The Last Minute Pt.3

~Location: Somewhere near Barricade Town~

~3rd Person POV~

We see our two main hedgehogs running and flying around some fields and hills. Both of them were having a conversation with Tailsko on their ear pieces and how things were on her end

Sonica: Yo, Tailsko! You there?

Tailsko (Ear piece): I'm here! Where are you and Y/n

Sonica: Y/n and I aren't too far outside of Barricade Town. Everything going well on your end?

Tailsko: Yes and very much no

~Quick Change~

We see the female two-tailed fox at her computer in her workshop. She was analyzing the data that Y/n and Sonica was collecting in order to make a cure for the Metal Virus

Tailsko: The data from the bio-scanners that I gave you and Y/n is coming in perfectly. On the other hand, Eggma'am hit Central City with the Metal Virus before we got into town

The male hedgehog voice his thoughts on this now known fact

Y/n (Computer): Tch. Damn that mad woman. We'll be there shortly, Tailsko

~Quick Change~

We see the two hedgehogs again. Y/n has lowered himself a little so he could be next to Sonica. Tailsko denied the male hedgehog on the other end of the call

Tailsko (Communicator): No-No-No! You guys keep collecting data. We need Sonica's speed data and your Chaos data. It may be the only way to finding a cure! Plus, it'll be a back up in case something bad happens on my end

Sonica: Gotcha. Still, stay safe

Y/n: If you need anything, call me. I'll teleport there if I have to!

Tailsko: Thanks. I should be fine

Suddenly, Y/n and Sonica hear a crash on Tailsko's end of the call. She speaks up in a hasty voice

Tailsko (Communicator): I've got to let you two go

Sonica: Sure thing. You go be brilliant

Y/n: Be careful

Tailsko (Communicator): I'll try!

Tailsko the hangs up, leaving the two hedgehogs with each other. Sonica was still running, burning off her Infection as she does. Y/n was flying next to her. Sonica leaps over a hill while having a disturbed look on her face

Sonica: And now we're on our own again, Y/n. Not that I don't enjoy company. But I still can't help but feel I tad bit lonely

Y/n nods his head and lands on his feet, deciding to run with Sonica

Y/n: I think I understand. I never thought I'd be this close with anyone, but here we are

Y/n and Sonica continue to run until they see Barricade Town in the distance

Y/n: There it is

Sonica: Yeah. Seems like yesterday Knuckie, you, and I were busting Rough and Tumble's extortion racket

Y/n: And when I met Aella. But now those idiotic skunks are Zombots at the bottom of a mine

Y/n smirks at this, not at all caring for those two skunks. Sonica rolls her eyes at Y/n's comment and turns her attention back to Barricade Town
