Soap's Sister (Ghost love story)

The next couple of days were boring, nothing happened apart from me and Ghost training harder preparing for our mission. At 1200 Ghost, Price and I were to have a meeting about the plans. I left the gym and went to meet with Price and Ghost for the meeting. I needed a shower after the meeting because where I had been training I felt sweaty and all around gross. I quickly made my way to Price's office hoping I wouldn't be late.

'Hey kiddo! Just in time' Priced smiled at me.

'As you know it's a four day mission. The hotel you will be staying at is exactly 10miles out from the actual hotel they are staying at. The event will be on the second day. It starts at 7pm but you two will arrive in a hire car at 7:30pm under the alias of  'James and Alexandra Percy.' They are both are from old money and live in Windsor. They have been married for 2 years. You met at a ball your 'Alexandra's' parents held.' Price paused and handed us two ID's with our faces on and new identification for this mission. 'Paige you are to try and get close to the two targets, Ghost you need to be on look out for any other potential targets or any intel. You will both leave in two days. You will only have contact with me and Laswell.'

I picked you up my new ID, and looked at it. It always amazed me how they were able to just make them so real. Create a new person so fast.

'If there are any complications you both know what to do and at the end of the ball you two will report the intel to me and Laswell. Go and pack you two are leaving at 10am tomorrow.'

'Thanks Price. Do you know when we will be getting our shipment?' I questioned knowing we haven't got our dress clothes for the ball.

Price pulled out two boxes. Pushed one at me and the other at Ghost.

'Can I have a look inside?'

'When you get back to your dorm'

'Ok byeeee' I said taking the box and practically running out of the office. I was so excited. I burst into my room and opened the box. It was full of make up and hair products. Hellllll yeahhhhh!

I had always loved make up, it made me feel pretty. I liked getting my hair and nails done, it just made me feel pretty and show me a woman who doesn't want to feel pretty. My way of feeling pretty was with stuff like this. I pulled out a dress, it was dark green and tight fitting. Just below where my hips would be it flared out a little and had a mini train. There was dark green sparkles embellished onto it and a random Lacey pattern adorned onto it. It was semi-low cut around my cleavage. It was utterly gorgeous. I had delicate silver heels that complimented the dress perfectly. There were a matching silver necklace and ear ring set and last of all a silk silver masquerade mask. There was a note at the bottom of the box that was from Laswell.

I put my note down and went across the hall to Ghosts room and knocked on the door. I still didn't know where I stood with Ghost and my heart was beating out of my chest as I stood there waiting for him to answer.

'Paige' he said opening the door.

'Let me see your outfit then.'

'Not a chance'

With that he shut the door in my face. Once again I was confused. I went back to my room and picked up my box of things and went to see Johnny because obviously I needed my brother to approve. I used my elbow to open his door not bothering to knock.

'JOHNNY!'

'Fucking hell lass you scared me. What do you have there?'

'The gown for the ball. Wanna see it?'

'Of course.'

I started pulling out everything from the box and showing him.

'You will be the prettiest woman there Pea. Just promise me that you will be safe there.'

I knew what he was saying, he knew the ball would be a fortress of body guards and people that we have been trying to track down for years. I was scared myself if I was honest.

'Johnny, I'm a trained soldier. Doesn't matter if I'm in a dress I will do my duty.' I said with a small smile. 'I will be fine' I tried to reassure him. I didn't know if I was actually trying to reassure him or me. I had been on undercover missions before but this was not the usual missions. I would be in the presence of the men that had threatened the existence of many lives. Dangerous men, who wanted my blood. Show me a person who wouldn't be a little scared.

'When do you leave?'

'In two days and I'll be gone for 4 days. We won't have any contact unless it's with Price or Laswell.' I paused 'I'm sure you could hope in with Price though?'

'Maybe, I'll butter him up' Johnny said making me laugh. He never failed to make me laugh, I love Johnny so much. The only constant in my life. I rested my head on his shoulder, until a knock at the door interrupted us.

'Soap. It's Ghost. May I come in?'

'It's open' Johnny shouted.

Ghost walked in and obviously didn't expect to see me. His eyes fell on the clothes on the floor from my box.

'Paige this is important you need to leave.'

I looked at Johnny and Ghost back and forth. I sighed.

'Fine I know when I'm not wanted'

I needed a nap anyways, so it was perfect timing.
