Dakota

I smiled against his lip as my heart raced, I was kissing Christopher Young. Again. How could I not? He had some sort of power, he was sucking me into his life.
"Dakota?" I hear Evie's voice.
I quickly pull away from Chris and we both let go of each other before we look over and see Evie staring at us.
"He pushed me in." I say.
"Did not, you pushed me first." He says.
"Yeah, but then you pulled me in with you." I tell him.
"Whatever." He says.
"Uh, well, I was wondering if you wanted to go home now." Evie says.
"Yeah." I smile.
"Okay, I'll bring the car to the front." She says as she winks at me.
I shake my head and smile as she walks away.
"Are you gonna ghost me now?" Chris asks.
I look over at him, "Will you keep sleeping with girls?" I ask.
"Nope. I won't even look at another girl, Dakota. I swear on my mother's life, I'm done with those other girls" He says.
I laugh at him before I swim to the edge of the pool, I climb out and he stays in the water.
"So?" He asks as he swims to the edge.
I smiled as I looked down at him, he was looking at me like a lost puppy. Damn you, Chris, for being so attractive.
"If you even think about another girl, I will dye your hair bright orange." I warned him as I crouched down in front of him.
"You can do whatever you want with my hair, buttercup." He smiles.
I roll my eyes as he stares at me in a daze.
"What about my armpit hair?" He asks.
"Shut up." I laugh.
He chuckles.
"I'm gonna go home now." I say.
"Can I come with you?" He asks.
"No, but I'll text you, okay?" I say.
He smiles and nods.
"Bye, Chris." I say.
"Wait, kiss first." He says.
I sigh before I place a kiss against his. We pull away and he gasps as he falls back into the water, dramatically.
I laugh as I stand back up.
"So dramatic." I say as I make my way back to the house.
"Your kiss blew me away, Dakota!" I hear him call from behind me.
I smile like a freak as I walk through the house, towards the front door. Everyone frowns at me because I was soaking wet, but I didn't care. I walk outside and see Evie waiting in the car by the curb. I smile as I run to her. I get into the passenger seat and she laughs.
I smile at her and she sighs, "You gave in, didn't you?" She asks.
"He's too cute." I say as I put my seatbelt on.
She laughs before we drive away.

"This isn't even english." Chris says as he flips through some random british literature book.
I laugh at him as he frowns down at the book. I was at work and he was here with me, he was sitting on a stool next to me while I did my job. He kept grabbing random books, trying to keep himself occupied.
"Maybe I should just stick to the pregnancy books." He says.
"Maybe." I smile.
He looks at me and smiles. I lean down and kiss him and he chuckles.
"God damn." He says.
I laugh and shake my head at him. We've been seeing each other a lot the past few weeks, it was amazing. He was so sweet to me, I felt so happy with him.
I look up and watch Ryder walk in, oh fuck. He looks at me and then at Chris, he glares at Chris as he walks up to us.
"Do you need something?" I ask.
"What is he doing here?" He asks as he looks at Chris.
"I'm reading." Chris says.
"I'm surprised that you even know how to read." Ryder says.
"Ha, hilarious." Chris says.
Ryder smirks before looking back at me.
"Are you free tonight?" He asks.
"Oh my god, yes, Ryder. I've been waiting for you to finally ask me out!" Chris cheers as he stands up.
I laugh at him and Ryder looks at Chris like he was insane.
"I wasn't talking to you, dumbass." Ryder snaps.
"You're a feisty one, aren't ya?" Chris says as he winks at Ryder.
Ryder gives Chris a dirty look and Chris just smiles.
"You're fucking whack." He says before he makes his way towards the exit.
"Bye, baby!" Chris calls out to him.
Ryder flips Chris off and I laugh. Chris chuckles before looking at me.
"What'd you think?" He asks.
"Amazing." I smile.
"Oh yeah?" He asks.
I smile and nod.
"You know what else I'm amazing at?" He asks as he steps closer to me.
"What?" I smile.
"Kissing." He says as he pulls me to him by my waist.
I laugh as I look up at me, "Only one way to find out." I say.
He chuckles before he leans down and kisses me.
