Chris

I watch my finger as I wrap her soft hair around it. She sighs and I look down at her as she lays her head on my bare chest. Her blankets were barely covering our naked bodies but I didn't mind. This was a special moment. It was the perfect moment.
"I thought the mattress was going to pop." I say.
She laughs, "That'd be funny as fuck." She says.
"It would make this moment even better." I tell her.
She looks up at me and smiles.
"I love you." I whisper.
"I love you." She says before she leans up and kisses me.
We pull away and she hugs me tighter, making me smile.
"So, how many girls have you fucked on an air mattress?" She asks.
I chuckle, "Only you." I say.
"Good." She says.
"But I did fuck a girl on a park bench once." I say.
"Ew!" She says.
I laugh, "I'm kidding, that'd be insanely uncomfortable." I say.
She laughs and shakes her head.
I run my fingers up and down her bare back. Her skin was so soft, I loved it.
"Your skin is so soft." I whisper.
"I use baby lotion." She admits.
I chuckle, "Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, it smells so good." She says.
"I bet." I smile down at her.
It falls silent as we both lay there, holding each other. I could stay like this forever, just touching her and holding her in my arms like this.
"I had a brain tumor." I blurt out.
"What?" She asks as she pulls her head off me.
I chuckle, "Over the summer, I got surgery for it." I tell her.
"Are you serious?" She asks.
I nod.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asks.
"Because I didn't want you to worry. I knew I'd live." I say.
"Chris, you should've told me. I would've come and made sure you were okay." She says.
"I know." I smile.
She sighs, "You need to stop thinking people won't listen to you. Everyone loves you, Chris. You friends, you're family, Olivia, me." She says.
"I know, I just hate being a burden." I say.
"You could never be a burden, Christopher." She whispers.
I knew that I never let people see me upset, I always tried to be happy and nonchalant about most things. I hated putting my problems on other people, that's why I always kept to myself. But it was nice to know that all these people didn't care if I put my problems on them, they wanted me to. Because they care about me. It's nice to have people care about you.
"Thank you." I tell her.
She smiles before she rests her head back on my chest.
"Ryder killed my brother." She says.
"Woah, what?" I ask.
She looks up at me as I stare at her in shock, "You have a brother?" I ask.
She nods, "Luka." She says.
