"Miss Park, your wish is my command." A werewolf of Delta rank bowed down in front of a girl.

"I want you to abduct this girl for me. Make sure you don't miss it," the said girl commanded without any emotions. She seeks revenge.

"Yes ma'am, I will capture her today with one of my companions," the built man said sincerely.

"No need to be so formal, and you can do the work tomorrow. There's no rush," the girl said, brushing him off.

"How could I not? If not for that war, you would have been our ruler!" the man protested, standing up in offense.

"But isn't it fate? A Beta can't rule the pack. It was inevitable for a powerful pack to take over ours," the girl said with a smile, but it didn't quite reach her eyes.

The man sighed and said, "I will do my task tomorrow. I will take my leave now if there's nothing more."

The girl nodded and handed him the photograph of the target.

The man stared at his target, a teenage girl with a pale face and blue eyes, with a beauty mark by the side of her left eye.

Lisa looked at her mother while she was lecturing her for being late. She looked down suddenly, finding the carpet more interesting than her mother's talk.

She sighed and said, looking defeated, "I am letting you off the hook this one time, but don't make the same mistake twice, get it?"

'Mothers really know how to play the victim.'

"Okay, mom." It sounded like she was saying "ma'am" instead of "mom."

She went upstairs to her room and closed her door, just in case her mother thought that the lecture wasn't enough.

"Argh, why am I like this? Why am I so submissive towards my mother? Like, yeah, children should listen to their parents, but every time? What's wrong with me? Why am I scared of her? I am sure it's not just respect that makes me obey her, it's fear…" she murmured in the end.

She slumped herself on her king-sized bed and looked at the ceiling. She seemed to be thinking very deeply, but it wasn't about her mother or her life, but rather a certain silver-eyed being.

"Those eyes were mesmerizing. What- have I been single for so long that now I am thinking about an animal? Get yourself together, Luna!" she said, hitting herself on the head a bit hard.

She stood up a bit and sat with her knees bent, trying to rationalize her logic. "But it's just in a friendly way, no romantic feelings involved. Isn't it totally platonic? I admit if I ever see a person with silver eyes, I would kiss them," she said, looking serious and swearing with her three fingers sticking out from her hand.

"Aish, but there won't be any person with silver eyes…" she said and slumped on her bed with her face bumped on the bed, her body in the air supported solely by her knees and head.

She soon fell asleep still in that position.

---

'Just say my name, and all your worries will be forgotten in the mist of a fog called love.' A gentle voice said, most probably belonging to a girl.

Why can't I see her clearly? I want to reach her. I want to touch her.

'You don't want me? Okay then, I will go. See you later, maybe never?'

'No!'

---

"NO!!" Lisa shouted at the top of her lungs.

She huffed and took deep breaths. She reached the edge of the bed and took her bottle from the table beside her bed.

She drank it quickly and said, "It was just a dream anyway."

She chuckled a bit and shook her head.

"BABY! IS SOMETHING WRONG? WHY DID YOU SHOUT? OPEN THE DOOR!" Her mother shouted and knocked on her bedroom door frantically.

"Mom, I am alright! Just had a bad dream, umm, kinda?" Lisa said, unsure of whether to call it a nightmare or daydream.

"Open the door first!" Her mother commanded.

Lisa got up from her bed and opened the door.

"What did you dream about?" Her mother said, cupping her face with her palms.

"Umm, a teenager's dream?" Lisa said, too embarrassed to tell anyone about her dream.

"I want an exact answer. I don't care about your hormonal shifts," her mother told her, glaring at her intently.

"Well, don't judge me, but I saw a girl about my age who has a gentle voice, and she was calling out for me, but I couldn't reach her. She said that we will meet soon," Lisa said with dreamy eyes.

"Can you guess who she might be? Like maybe someone from your school or somewhere?" Her mother questioned her, looking everywhere but at her.

"I don't think I have ever met anyone with a voice like hers…" Lisa said after a long pause.

"You aren't going anywhere for a week!" Her mom commanded her, making it clear that it's her final decision.

"Mom! But tomorrow is my second day of school, and they are gonna give us assignments," she said with disbelief in her eyes.

"Ask your friends to provide you with that," her mother said with finality.

"Mom, you know what? I don't have friends. Everyone thinks I am a weirdo because of you! Everyone fears you, and they used to laugh at me for how stupid I was to believe you," she said with anger, her voice wavering.

"Okay, you can go to school, but just for tomorrow. After that, you have to stay at home for a week! No more buts and howevers. Sleep, cry, or do whatever, for all I care," she announced and left the room, leaving a lonely girl there all alone.

"I- What am I supposed to do for a whole week? MOM!"

"I hate you, mom. I fucking do!" she said and slumped her head on her pillow to soak it with her tears.

But what they both didn't know was that it was her last day at school after all, and she wasn't just going to take a week off, but more than that.
