All of the Outlanders soon found out it was a bad idea to confront Simba and his army. Simba's army outnumbered the Outlanders ten to one. Not only did Simba, all the lionesses, Lion Guards, Zazu, Rafiki, Makini, Timon and Pumbaa were there. Hippos, Basi, a herd of elephants led by Ma Tembo, all crocodiles led by Makuu were there too. Even herbivores such as zebras and giraffes joined the army. There was no way for the Outlanders to win Simba and his army in a battle. The Outlanders, who stopped, retreated and hid themselves before being spotted by Simba's army, quickly held a short meeting regarding their military strategy.
"We should all surrender!" Nne said in a quivering voice, "we're to be doomed and beaten up by 'em, sooner or later!"
"Useless idiot!" Janja rebuked him, "surrender? No way! No hyena should surrender to a lion!"
"But we ain't just facing one lion, Janja," said Chungu, "we're facing an army of lions!"
"And an army of elephants, hippos, crocodiles and...Lion Guard! How are we able to defeat them?" Cheezi wailed.
"I say we should talk to them," said Kiburi aggressively, "in a crocodile way!"
"You can do that to Makuu and his crocodiles," said Rei Rei, "but what about us? Are you expecting us to talk to lionesses, elephants and hippos in a crocodile way?"
"Hisss," after thinking deeply for a while, Ushari got an idea. A plan. A BIG PLAN.
"I've got a plan," he said, "there'sss a way for us to defeat the Army of Pride Landers and rule all the Pride Land with ease"
"Are you nuts?" asked Janja, "I think you must have gotten yourself stamped upon for too many times"
"Trussst me," said Ushari in a secretive tone. He smiled "jussst follow my strategy. We ssshall win the battle"
"Wait a minute," said Rei Rei, "you have to tell us about your strategy. You aren't Scar and we have no confidence in your plans and leadership. We cannot just follow your ideas blindly."
While the Outlanders were chatting furtively, the Pride Landers grew impatient. Simba looked at the silent Outlands in fury. He asked Zazu, "where're the Outlanders? Where's Scar? I can't see them"
"My king," replied Zazu, "the volcano collapsed after the earthquake. As far as I can tell, there's no trace of Scar. As for the Outlanders, they somehow refuse to show up"
